Hi, whats the best high street price at the moment? Im going away on Tuesday so need to pick up some €'s before the weekend.

    Thanks

I have been watching no1currency.com - comes quite high up the list using Martin's travel money maximiser too. My local branch is at the back of a 'Cash Converters' shop -looks like they have lots of branches- check on their website to see if there is one near you

Post Office branches are now ahead of RBS and Natwest and you don't have to wait till the next day with the Post Office.

Typical....the mighty Inspector goes on holiday and the exchange rate goes mental in the right direction.....

....after I've just transferred £20k into a Euro account last week of course.

What's caused this rise then? Is it positive news from UK or negative from the Eurozone? Let's hopefully see it keep going towards 1.20 and beyond. What you think?

Just read an intersting article in the Telegraph. I'd attach the link bit don't know how. Maybe the time has come for the Euro to take a proper beating, and not before time. I know we're still in deep s**t but the GBP has been undervalued for far too long.

    Hi
I have a nationwide flex account with a visa debit card. I go to Spain this week, should I exchange 400 pounds here, in spain or use the ATM over there with my card. I would appreciate any advice
    Thanks

Definitely use your Nationwide debit card at the atm. Today's visa rate is 1.15 euro to the pound.
