On the subject of Easter Holidays (we were, kinda) mine are only off the easter weekend and don't have their two weeks hols until 7 April  well, teenie does anyway.

Embb - I vaguely remember the council changing the Easter holidays to fixed weeks to make it easier for parents to book their annual leave from work and organise timeshares! I'm not joking! Oh to have such problems :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:
  • Morning ladies :hello:

Hope everyone's well today. The sun is shining and that always make a difference to me :j Didnt manage to get to the library yesterday. Was chucking it down with rain and I got soaked. So will nip down today. Need to find out what time the fish van comes round as I'm treating myself for tea. DD is having 2 friends round for a sleepover. So will make a start on her room, although I dont know why I bother

Its a bit weird today. First Friday in months that I wont be seeing BF. (Wont be seeing him all weekend) What will I do with my time? More flying maybe :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

quick pop in from me - was sent home from work yesterday after i was sick and was a ghostly shade of pale, and consequently still ill today. I am sure i have a touch of flu.

Didn't manage to do anything yesterday. Couldn't even face eating or coming on here so that shows you how rough i was as they are two of my favourite pastimes.

MIL here. Annoying me a bit as although she is great with DS, she causes as much work. She's took DS for a walk now to give me some peace. but basically, ironed a load of clothes while i was having a nap yesterday really badly so i will need to rewash probably as they have so many creases in. Cooked dinner, but i've gone in the kitchen this morning, and everywhere covered in dribbles of oil and the kitchen sink that normally manages a week between bleachings was brown. Silly little things but they drive me round the bend. or putting clean white washing in the bowl that DS spent all week throwing up in and was still needing bleaching.

I suppose i really shouldn't be so petty, but i think i am worse because i feel so grim, and i know i have now till sunday evening to put up with it. FIL arrives in a few hours, and then i will be having to watch 2 of them to see what they are up to. Thankfully they booked into a hotel for sat night, as they were mainly coming up to help DH decorate.

Right, going to chill out here while they are out, eat some crisps and have a glass of OJ, and take plenty of slow deep breaths.
