    Morning all

Only one load of washing today! Draped round indoors. It's not raining at the moment but it was earlier and it's still grey. Quite mild though.

Dusted living room and vacuumed right through downstairs.

Dog had her hair cut this morning so she looks beautiful :) She's very tired now and having a good sleep.

I've got a banging headache, sinuses I think because it's mostly round one eye and the top of my nose. I've just put some Vick round there and it's making my eyes water but seems to relieve it a bit. The extra-strength ibuprofen might help soon too.....

I'm prone to sinus problems, Sudafed is a godsend:D You can get the Dual-Relief ones that have paracetemol in them, works wonders with ibuprofen;)

:rotfl: ok it's moan time so feel free to ignore this post!:rotfl:

as you know i'm self employed and can't work for 6 to 8 weeks. i want to work but can't because of my wrist. i've always paid my voluntary NI stamp so decided to claim incapacity benefit for those 6 to 8 weeks. get a letter today and can't have it because i owe them £8.40! they never told me this but apparently when i changed bank accounts one payment was missed. i am so peed off because they never told me at the time. to cap it all, the phone number they put on the letter was wrong, some poor business has been getting all the jobseekerplus phone calls for the last 4 weeks! ok, i'll breath now. i'm going to try and get a job for the next 6 weeks that i can do with one hand but not sure if anyone would employ me short term with one hand! any offers:rotfl:

    ok, moan over!

pigpen...i did loads yesterday and not even a dog biscuit! believe me, i need them now - 100 recipes with a dog biscuit.

    okay - cheeriness resumed!:rotfl: :D

right, i've taken positive steps...i'm paying the £8.40 and i've phoned them up to try and make an appointment at my local job seekers centre so they can find me a job. i've told them if i can't have the benefits i'm going to need a temporary job. they're now reassessing my case:rotfl: though it could take 6 weeks. i'll be working again by then.

I used to suffer very badly from sinusitis. It went completely when I gave up dairy.

And yet if you have never worked a day in your life you would get all sorts of benefits.

    don't get me started!

quick question for any muffin makers. do you use a special muffin tin and can you only get tins that have 6 muffins in? do you tend to do two batches at a time? thankyou.

    my list today;

    - walk dog
    - washing load (finally caught up with last weeks dirty clothes)
    - dry for 10 mins and hang clothes
    - load dishwasher

any way to top it all, i decided i wanted gherkins in my sandwich but couldn't open the jar so i put it between my knees and the lid came off and i got covered in gherkins and the juice they come in. not a good look!

Dont tell me that! I gave up dairy for lent and caved after 3 weeks(didnt do too badly given what a cheese hound i am:o ) You shouldnt eat too much dairy if you have a cold etc as it leads to increased mucus production.
