    Hi everyone

Thumping Thursday - Kitchen and Dining Room
    Level One
    [strike]Clear and wipe kitchen surfaces[/strike]
    Level Two
    [strike]
    Sweep and mop floors
Sort & clean fridge bringing what needs using soon to the front, clean out any spills or grots in there!
Wipe dining table.. (clean table cloth if necessary)
    [/strike]
    Level Three
    [strike]
Dust any extra furniture in dining area, checking for cobwebs on way round
Wipe and replace all those small appliances.. kettle, toaster etc
    [/strike]
Clean out the kitchen junk drawers.. nasty dumping grounds!!
Clean cupboard door fronts and fronts of appliances .. don't forget those kick boards..
Check those washing machine filters and drawers for ickiness!! Tumble dryer, cooker hood and dishwasher filters need to be done too!!
Extra Mission : help yourself :D
    • Wipe window sills and clean windows in these rooms
    • Wipe down any tiles and shine those taps.. a toothbrush is great for cleaning away the gunk!
    • Clean oven if it really needs it.. or [strike]just do the hob[/strike]
    • 33 fling boogie.. GO!
    • [strike]Empty the bin.. wash it out.. and make it smell SWEET[/strike]
I know I'm still in the early days, but I just try and do as much as I can each day. I try not to dwell on the things I've been unable to do, but be proud of what I have done. It has already been said the rooms come around again, the extra things can always be done another week.
My house is tidier, my kids are fed well, I am less stressed. It all goes towards a happier home.

Huh! There's no satisfying some people - first you complain you're too cold, then you complain you're too hot.....

But just think of the gas/leccy you're now saving :D

Soappie you didn't upset me at all ;)

It just seems unbelievable that so many police officers are dying needlessly at the moment. All have been reported as well regarded and all have left families including children behind which I find the most tragic bit. Just remembered about a Wiltshire officer who was found dead with what looks like self inflicted gunshot wounds as well within the last week :(

Mudbath, I'm the same actually - since I had my new boiler about 3 years ago, the rads throw out so much heat I often turn the termostat right down just to cool the place a bit.
Which is why I get seriously p*d off when my D-i-L turns the thermostat up to 25  when I'm not in - the place becomes positively tropical!

    Evening All,
It has been the worst week for flying so far, but I'm in tomorrow and need to get stuff done. So just going to do what I need to do to get it looking right..

    My list:
    DW
    WM
    TD
    S&S kitchen
    S&S bathroom
    dust
    general tidy
    compost
    bin in kitchen
    hoover through
    wash floors
    Newday bookings
    Tesco for bits and bobs
    phonecall for Dad

There isn't that much really, but my energy levels are seriously lacking. I'm going to go to bed early and then get cracking first thing tomorrow.
It's DD1's b'day tomorrow, she's 14...oh my baby is growing up.....she's having a sleepover, so need to get it sorted for that and need to get the stuff she wants from Tescos.
