  • I can't do it! How do you lot manage?

Did yesterday cause only worked half day but have been at work all day after sorting DS1 and getting him to nursery. Have arrived home and cooked tea, played with DS1 and now just want to flop while he watches storymakers.

Do I need to be ejected from the Flylady club??
Tomorrow is a new day with no mistakes in it yet...

well if you get booted out mrs pepperpot then i've already been kicked out! just do what you can and don't stress about it. even if you just do a hhc to get a few bits done and if you can't face that just put five things away in the right place. sometimes that's all i can be bothered to do but once i start i tend to do more. pigpen isn't cracking the whip today (how's the head piggy?) so you won't even get shouted out! just do little bits if the whole list seems to much. you don't get kicked out that easily!

No Mrs Pepperpot, you won't be ejected - you'll just not get dog biscuits. A hint from me - even if you just two things from level 1 on the daily fly list you'll feel you've achieved something. And it WILL get easier as time goes on

Also cooked a stew with dumplings from scratch, HHI, cleaned the downstairs loo, sink and cleaned the mirror and pictures in there as well. Heard eldest daughter read, sorted out her email and internet connection, found her a template for a newsletter she needs for homework. Helped middle daughter revise her fractions for a test tomorrow.

Small steps is all it takes, set yourself small targets. And dont try and play catchup, the rooms will all come round again next week;)
