    Sorry, Joe, just realised we didn't answer your question about what 'DSL synchronisation pending' means. I think it means that it's having trouble connecting to the phone line if it's going on too long. Check that the modem's plugged into the phone socket (or splitter) securely.

    I went to speedtouch.co.uk, then support, then 330 and then I clicked update for Windows Vista as advised by Primus.
