I'm a bit late on this thread but one thing that really annoys me is on long distance single carriageway roads (A9 perfect example) people will just sit in long ques behind slower vehicles, often with not much of a gap between them.
Either overtake OR keep a big distance between the vehicle in front to allow others to pass.
This case just recently came to court - http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/scotland/highlands_and_islands/7290190.stm
Whilst this was a tragic crash, IMO part of the blame is on the people sat up the tail of each other behind the slower vehicle, not allowing vehciles behind to safely overtake
If you aint gonna p*ss get off the pot

If i'm feeling really naughty I even brake at the last minute, THEN indicate.
My arguemnt would be "well they ran into the back of me..."
Then you are advocating causing an accident. People shouldn't be tailgating, but people also shouldn't rise to the bait and react dangerously as a result. You would be far better behind someone like that than in front of them, why not let them pass and then you are in control of the situation. If someone runs into the back of you, you are still in for the inconvenience of an insurance claim etc etc.Not buying unnecessary toiletries 2024 26/53 UU, 25 IN0 -
Or how about an LED scrolling message display with a remote for the rear window? http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Car-Message-Display-scrolling-and-programmable_W0QQitemZ380002484687QQihZ025QQcategoryZ9895QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem
I got one of those, got pulled over and the copper sugested it could be both distracting and confrontational. Not illegal in it's own right but in the event of an accident could be viewed as having contributed.
"Please Tailgate, I Need The Compensation" was the one I used.I like the thanks button, but ,please, an I agree button.
Will the grammar and spelling police respect I do make grammatical errors, and have carp spelling, no need to remind me.;)

They have them on the back of their cars so they've got room to comment on it.0
