See THIS earlier thread about it. It looks like there's a thing called Hullomail that you can use.0

or at a push theres an add on for £2.50 a month that gives u unlimited free voicemail...does my bum look big in this sig?0

Alternatively go into phone settings then diverts and deactivate them so that callers who dont get through to you dont get to leave messages.0

Try Hullomail which is a FREE alternative to T-Mobile Voicemail.
At present all calls to setup, check and divert your Hullomail Voicemail are included in your pay monthly minutes.
Simply Google the name and visit their website. Sign up for an account.
To get it working just like normal T-mobile voicemail (but without that charges!) just follow the instructions on the Hullomail website - key the code into your phone and your phone will be set up to divert to voicemail with Hullomail not T-Mobile. On their website check you have asked for SMS alerts for new messages and missed calls. Then programme your answerphone (1) key to the voicebox number that Hullomail gives you in their setup e-mail. Voila!
A bit of messing to set up initially, but the process was very straightforward and its all FREE!

Is this still the case that Hullomail is free to set up if you are with T Mobile. I am on a 2 year contract, 500 texts, 500 minutes, and unlimited landline as an extra free boost.0

I use Hullomail and it works fine, comes out of your Inclusive Mins because Hullomail use a 03 number, but doesn't it only work with smartphone?
The other option it to ask T-Mobile to turn your Voicemail off and they will then send you a free text stating 'X' number called you at this time, so you can call them back.0 -
Thought T-Mobile charge for all call diverts?I spent 25 years in the mobile industry, from 1994 to 2019. Worked for indies as well as the big networks, in their stores also in contact centres. I also hold a degree in telecoms engineering so I like to think I know what I’m talking about 😂0

Does this still work?
I just dialled my Tmobile number from my O2 phone, let it go to voicemail and all i could do was leave a message and rerecord it. nothing else.
and yes i have pin prompt enabled
Not sure if it still works but to anyone else who was thinking along these lines you phone your number FROM your number, ie the same phone not your O2 phone :rotfl: Thats what I assumed from reading anyway, correct me if I am wrong as I don't have a mobile so cannot verify this.0 -
Can anyone confirm voicemail is free if you call your own number from your phone? Am thinking of moving to T Mobile but am being put off by the fact that accessing VM isnt included in your monthly allowance0

I'm with T-Mobile and im sure that if you call your own number you get charged. I pay an extra £2.13 per month now though which is for unlimited voicemail - Prior to this my voicemail out of allowance was costing me £8-10 per month!:dance:Quidco Payments In 2011 - £724.21
