    Placed the Order :-
consumer:Bundle Nokia 3100 - refurbished, Online Pay as you Go 'Talkalot with Calls and Messages', O2 Pay as you Go SIM card Voice 9.99

In one of the screens, I saw this message
"The amount that is taken from your account by Direct Debit each month is likely to be larger and depend on the nature and the extent of your mobile usage."

Will I be charged for anything other than £9.99. I plan to unlock this phone and use it with Orange SIM.

no just stupid o2 is set up for online for contracts only, they are going to debit my bank a/c with the 9.99 as I am a customer, yet they are doing a credit check on me..im not happy!
If I helped or saved you money - Thank me
If I helped you spend some money - spank me
    If I done both - :lipsrseal me:eek:

Its strictly only a student offer, but anyone can apply, they dont ask any student questions.

Quickest route go to https://www.o2.co.uk/nus then click on all phones, and then go to page 3 of phones on offer, its the last phone on that page.

It comes with online sim and choice of tariff etc,and some other freebies.

Thanks for this. Just had a look, it says minimum top £10 a month. Does that mean I have to top by £10 each month? I intend to buy it and use another sim card in it.

No you don't have to pay £10 each month, the £10 just gives you the minutes or texts. No £10, no texts or minutes. I put £10 on every other month. Use the mins one month and the money the next. (you get to keep the £10 as well as getting minutes/texts)

I do not know why it will not let me do it!! It keeps saying register your details and I know I have in put the data correctly and it kept coming back to the same page.

I am bit confused here, was buying the phone and then got this message "The amount that is taken from your account by Direct Debit each month is likely to be larger and depend on the nature and the extent of your mobile usage."
I thought this was a one off of £9.99. I do not wish to set a direct debit, therefore at check out, did not press OK to confirm. Does that mean the sale wil still go through? Will try to phone in the morning, just in case, they take direct debit each month from my card.

Is the sim card that is delivered with the phone preregistered to the buyer (and thier O2 account), or can i pass on the simcard to someone else without any problems?

Looks like they've noticed it a mistake - the link now says that they're updating the site, but other phones are still shown.

I ordered one yesterday but haven't received any confirmation emails or anything. Is this normal?
