I'd like to nominate Ted as well. Not only did he give me helpful advice, but he (amongst others) made me feel much better.
  • Yes I would love to vote for ted Hutchinson too!

Lots of really useful information is always supplied by him to help others. :T

I would like to nominate bylromarha for her Birds Eye Beef in Gravy post.

Haven't had so much fun since the toe separator hunt....and the stuff is more useful this time. As a result of bylromarha's post, and advice through PMs I went on to buy £750 of beef in one go. I donated it all to local homeless hostels. Of course I now have lots of points to look forward to spending. I also think it highlighted the potential value of tesco points when used in deals which many, including myself were not fully aware of.

Also a mention for whoever first posted about the other (not quite as rewarding) extra points offers.
  • I'm with Savvy_Sue and others for a vote for Ted Hutchinson. He's absolutely fantastic with digging up information- I'm sure that he puts a lot of effort into it and yet never mentions it! Well done to Ted. Fab bloke.

I think it's time we heard it for Ted Hutchinson! Trouble is it's so hard to know where to start. He consistently pops up with excellent advice on Benefits and Health, and in other places also. His posts are easy to read, and he obviously takes time to research his answers. If he doesn't know, he says so and goes and finds out.

Here's a few examples from August:

Claiming benefits - DLA, Mobility, Attendance Allowance - DO IT NOW! (post 52 - though there are other earlier ones, equally good!)

    Finding lumps (post 66)

8 year old with fears help!!! (post 3)

    Absorbing supplements (post 2)

I wanna ... lose weight (post 771 - OK I know it was July but only just!)

He's also prepared to wade into the odd argument and pour oil on troubled waters, as in Calling all dental staff (post 25)

All in all, I think Ted deserves that £50, all power to the grumpy old man he claims to be!
I would also like to nominate Ted for post of the month. The time and efforts he puts into researching his posts, and the selfless way in which he will help anyone certainly deserves some sort of recognition. His posts regarding depression, omega 3s and asthma have helped me and my family enormously.

Edited to include Teds post on Asthma

And he is the least grumpy person I know! :D

Keep up the fab posting Ted! :T
