Market is slow - because of the budget???

You are all wrong- even nelly!
It is all my fault .
We put our house on the market last year. Saw a house we loved that was one of a kind and thought we would have no trouble selling ours as next door had just sold in a couple of months.
The moment the "for sale" sign was put up at our door, the person went next door ( we thought to remove the sale sign).
He did - he put up a "for sale " sign next door!!!
We now have three houses for sale in our small street. One sale has fallen through twice and another one about four times!
We lost the house we really liked and are keeping an eye on what is coming on the market but are not getting our hopes up until we have a real buyer.
Sigh

We have had our house on the market since September I think that the first estate agents we went with over priced it - but we thought it was worth it and got a viewing same day it went on market.

Perhaps it was a neighbour that couldn't believe how much it was on the market for!0 -
The budget is going to be announced today!!! So, tomorow I will have a queue of people wanting to view my house and a full asking price offer by the end of the day. Probably, be the weekend it wil be a bidding war and my house will sell for more than we thought!!!
Probably not :rotfl:Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

In that case I had better tidy up the house ready for the stream of eager buyers!!!
