Well done to everyone who lost!

I didn't go to class on Monday as I had the mother of all migraines. I'm certain i've lost though, as I tried on jeans I last wore just over a week ago and I can feel a definite difference. I'm definitely going back next week though. I've sickened myself with lentil soup though. I love it, but i've made about 4 pots of the stuff since I started and I don't want to see it anymore for at least a couple of months!

Weekend - I'm going for a whole week, so now do you see why I'm worried :D

There's a pub down the road that does the most fabulous meals, and I don't think I'll be having a salad ;)

Mind you, with all those fabulous tips off Peachy, I should be OK - my biggest worry is getting something to eat while we're out and about. We usually get a bag of chips or a pasty, and they are both definitely out - will have to try to get a wholemeal sandwich. Can you all see my halo shining :rotfl:

lol, you could always make a picnic lunch to take out with you on days out, we do this on hols (mainly due to costs) but i'm sure you can adapt something. even if its only for a couple of the days. but also remember its your holiday, so make sure you enjoy it, you can always jump back on the plan as soon as you get home!!!

chop leek & potatoes, boil up in 1pint of bovril stock (from jar not cubes) then whizz if required. takes about an hour simmering on stove.

Morning everyone :hello: , well just been on s/w site and a tip for a choc pudding . :easter:

swirling a cadburys highlight sachet 11g into low fat nat yogurt gives you a delicious choc dessert pud only 2 syn, and for white choc pud add cadburys wicked white choc 2 1/2 syns.

Get people to give you a box of choc rather than a egg , your syns can be spread than eaten in one munch:EasterBun :EasterBun

I use some ham stock cubes (1.5 syns each), a couple of onions, and diced carrots and turnip. Lots of carrots as it makes it sweeter. I simmered everything until cooked, and then rinsed some red lentils (just under half a 500g bag) and added it to the pot. It takes about 15 minutes for the lentils to be ready. Then I just mash the soup with a potato masher. I just do it by guess.

The only syns are in the stock cubes. I use 4, and it makes a big pot. So, 6 syns divided amongst a big pot isn't so much. It's really filling. I put some into plastic containers and have frozen it. I suppose you could make it using chicken bovril as stock, but i've never tried it.
