    Hi Jackieb

My OH has been away all weekend and all I have done is moped and havent felt like doing anything ! so I sympathise with your dearly beloved being away to mid April.

Im like you, If Im not organised it all goes pear shaped. Also sometimes I find myself eating NAUGHTY things even when Im not hungry - like I ate a crunchie and endles Oreo biscuits today but really I didn't actually want them. I self sabotage an awful lot and I dont know why

As my OH has been away, we had an Asda Curry Pot Curry tonight as a treat (with all the trimmings) and I didnt actually enjoy it and would have much preferred my slimming world chips with some ham as a HEB and fried eggs. I do find it funny how my tastes have changed.

I have photocopied some food diaries and have on one A4 sheet a whole week. Last thursday after weigh in, I sat in work planning my menu for the whole week. Its changed since then! so Im going to sit down in a minute and plan for the next two weeks (one so I can save money on my shopping by not wasting stuff) and also to help me get through easter without SYNNING too much!!!

    I highly recommend this.

Dont worry about weigh in tomorrow, there is that little thing called life that gets in the way and you shouldn't beat yourself up about the unplanned things that have happened this week. Weigh in tomorrow (you might be surprised) plan your food for the next week including some new things to try so you have something to look forward to. :D:D:D

Thank you both. I sabotage myself too - it's like we don't like ourselves! I'm going to go to weigh-in regardless. Our consultant is really lovely and she never makes anyone feel guilty if they have a gain, and she never even tells the class how much they've put on - she's so positive!
I've been a bit of a little piggy but I haven't enjoyed it either. I enjoy my food much more when i'm on plan.
Tomorrow, i'm going to get me organised! My dad and my son have both offered me their cars, so i'm not going to be stuck with no car to go shopping either.
I'm glad I visited this thread. I felt guilty so I haven't looked in during the past couple of days. It's made me feel more positive already. :)

It might just be my oven(!) but I've found that grilling them is so-so, but doing them in the oven in a ceramic dish is much much nicer. I'm not sure why that works! You don't even add Fry Light.
ill give that a try, think ill add some mushrooms, onions, tinned tomotoes. try anything once cheers

    Hi all,

Fab thread! Over the past year I've lost around 2 stone doing a little bit of Weight Watchers and then my own concoction which seems to have worked.

However... I have now hit a big stumbling block. I have done Slimming World many times over the years and had great success and I was wondering if I should go back to it again???

I know pretty much how things work but has there been any major changes? I was last a member at the beginning of last year I think..

Also if anyone could pm me the password so I can have a look round it would be really appreciated

    Any advice welcome

    Thanks all..

Casserole - they soak up lots of liquid so casseroling is always good as then they're not too dry.
