Where do you get your cracked black pepper fillets? They sound nice but I've recently switched to my local Asda and they're range isn't the best! I usually like the fillets but the ham and cheese etc have syns.

I get them from tesco home delivery. It seems most supermarkets dont sell many quorn products and its also very expensive. I get really frustrated when I see something advertised in the SW mag that is then no where to be found in the supermarket!

One tip one of our SW members gave was to phone up the quorn helpline and they can send you a list of their products and who stocks them etc. She also got some money off vouchers :D
  • Hi all

I'm ahaving a gorgeous green day today - and there is nooooo chance that I'll be hungry!!! For breakfast I had some (defrosted) frozen fruits with an optifit aldi yog (with wholegrains, free), a snack mid morning of a mugshot (chow mein flavour - free, but hmmmmm not sure, I'll stick with the tomato one I think!) and a lunch of big baked spuds, sweetcorn and HEA 28g cheddar.

only problem is I'm now all sleeeeeeepy......

Can I ask a couple of daft questions, how do you make jacket chips? And what do celeriac chips taste like - is it similar to potato?

I also cant find mug shots on the slimming world website but i believe they are free (the dried soup/pasta style things in a packet), can anyone confirm?
    Thanks folks.

Celariac tastes like aniseed. Jacket chips are just SW chips with the skin left on for fibre on a red day. Cut into chip shapes, par-boil, spray with fry-light and pop in the oven.

Mug Shot noodle ones are all free and the pasta tomato one, but the other pasta ones have between 0.5 and 2.5syns.

  • I disagree with SC totally :D

IMHO Celeriac tastes NOTHING of aniseed...... it is the ''root of celery'' ie it has a mild, similar to celery, flavour.
  • To check all the mug shots yourself, go to syns online, search all manufacturers, select M, range 51-60

    In 'product keyword' enter 'snack'

Its how Kelly described it a few pages back - she said it doesn't taste of celery at all. I wouldn't know I've never tried it! :p

Or just enter "Mugshot" into the brand box! :rotfl:
