Could be part of your problem? I'm sure you're supposed to have a variety of foods, to keep your system on the hop and to stop you getting bored with the programme.0 -
Hi I'm Lou and a newbie to this section of the board. I have done SW before but now on my second week back after having my daughter 8 weeks ago. Have three stone at least to loose and have a deadline of March next year as have friends coming over from Australia. Lost 5 lb in my first week and now on week two. Been kind of good this week apart from a trip to a well known American burger place for work.
One thing I learnt the last time I did SW was that if you don't have both As & Bs each day and at least 70 syns a week you body struggles to loose weight. Hope this helps someone.0 -
Raapunbird - is there anywhere that does jacket potato? You could have (more!) beans, or cheese (HEA's) or salad with it?0

I agree totally. Your body doesn't get a balanced diet (even refined sugars and fat are part of that!) so goes into starvation mode anyway - you may as well be living on a lettuce leaf.
Especially with the HEA's - there is something in milk and cheese which helps fat break down - so get out that glass of milk!0 -

It could definately be part of my problem although I was under the impression that Beans were a Super Speed food? I usually vary my lunches by having pasta salads or slow syn homemade sandwiches but I didn't have time at the weekend to do a full week shop and money is a bit tight at the moment so I've been trying to use up what is in my fridge.
I'm not bored at all, I loved having beans all week, they are really tasty with a bit of pepper
I'll be definately more varied next week, I need to get a online shop in this weekend for sure!SW since 23/07/2009Target Loss for 05/11/2009 = 33lbs/33lbs to go0 -
Hi all!!
I'm new to this slimming world forum, and having been "doing" the diet for the past 3 weeks, and am surprisingly enjoying it....i've managed to loose 9.5lbs!!! Yippee.
No longer attending the classes though, as they are not for me, they are too long, and as there is no regular leader, there is never the same face there!!!
So, can i be really cheeky and ask for help!!!
Really fancy M & S seafood Casserole (Its cold and wet and thought i would treat myself tonight!) But is it hugely sinful on a red day!!!0 -

Thanks for that Shirley - that's a great offer as Muller Lights seem to be 50p everywhere else at the moment.
