WD Shirley, WB Peachy. I'm new to the thread, started on Monday.
Just wondered if anyone here is a member of the Minimins forum?
I did go on the forum a few times, but found that nearly all the members are doing very low calorie diets such as the Cambridge. You spend most of your time scrolling through all the threads looking for a few SW ones. I much prefer it on here.0 -
I need help, last three weeks I gained 5.5Ibs, 2.5Ibs & then maintained. I stuck to it 2 days so far this week (On day 3) but yesterday hardly ate & today had a binge. I'm gonna get back to it but i'll be so down if I dont lose. I'm bipolar n strugglin, dont think i'll ever get to a healthy weight yet a few weeks ago i was doin great!0

UK Tigerlily - we'll help you. What day do you want to do today and what do you have in for meals and snacks??0

Hugs for you Tigerlily
From the pattern over the past few weeks, you have obviously gained more control over your diet week after week. To gain 5.5, then only 2.5 then to maintain is magnificent progress.
You rbipolar is obviously getting in the way here, but I wonder if more control might help you - my first thoughts would be to do a menu plan - naybe even only for tomorrow, but at least that way, when you wake up, you don't have to think toooooo much about what you 'want', or what you are in the mood for, rather what you will have...
Maybe start this morning if you can - write down a healthy plan for today and tomorrow - gives you a chance to pop to the shops if you are going to need anything, and firmly puts you back in the driving seat, which I guess is where you want to be.
<<hugs>>
I suffer depression too btw, not bipolar, but trying to regain control helps me.0 -
Im a bit stuck for breakfasts. My usual is to have a bowl of Special K Red Berries (more than is allowed on SW) and I have to be careful with eggs so can't eat too many. Also, I don't really like cooked breakfasts every day so don't want to keep eating bacon etc.0

Beans on toast? Or my new favourite, as recommended by consultant 31, is mullerlight with couscous stirred in, with lots of fruit on the top.0

I've just had that for breakfast - first time I've tried it and it was very good. Felt quite filling too, so I'll see when my tum starts rumbling again..!
I also find half a melon with some yogurt is quite filling, and melon is super speed food as it has a diuretic effect (makes you wee more).

WI last night, put on half a pound. I'm really disappointed, only a loss of 1 pound in 5 weeks!
I went swimming on Thursday and did a 6 mile walk last Sunday. I admit I went over my syns a couple of times but only by 1-2 syns.
I'm going to try and do some more red days but I've been so good this week, I'm very disheartened
It could be muscle from all the extra exercise I've put in, I'm going to weight myself at Boots at lunch to see if this is the case.

We were in Majorca in July at a Thomson Gold hotel and I kept having melon and yogurt for breakfast (after bacon and beans etc Im afraid!:D ). It was really delicious. Yogurt goes so well with melon. I bought some melon yesterday so I may have some in a minute as Im a bit peckish! Yum!0
