  • :T I lost 3 1/2 pound this week after being really good :T on my scales though!

Bad news I couldn't get to class to weigh in as suffering from really bad cold and flu symptoms so it doesn't really count does it!

Still its spurred me on not to pick at the jaffa cakes that are lurking in the cupboard and nibble on fruit....

Good job lem sips are free lol ( I phoned the syn line to check first)

Now got to keep it off for a whole week before I can weigh in again!

Crumbs I hadnt appreciated that you couldnt have a sweet potato as a HEB on a red day. I had just assumed that as it was a potato I could have it as a HEB

thanks for that peachy, i usually have a bit of milk left anyways, it just confused me!!!!!! doesn't take much, though, lol.
fruit and banana for breakfast, baked potato and beans for lunch, and quorn burgers & something for tea tonight.
its bloomin freezing here, does anyone else find the cold weather makes you hungry? or is that just me. also puts me off drinking juice, i just want a nice warm brew.
feeling quite good today though, as i'm back in some pants i couldn't get in at christmas, and they are quite lose and comfy, so that has made my day.
whats everyone else having to eat today, i need some ideas, been eating quite a bit of quorn lately, so i think i could do with a change?

My menu plan for next few days is
Lunch today (Heinz Mean Beans Italian with spring onions and 28g cheese)
Tea (after weigh in) weighed jacket, 2 x birds eye thai chicken pieces (3.5 syns each  ) Bread roll (my treat of the week!)

    Tomorrow lunch (undecided)
tomorrow tea M&S Butterflied leg of Lamb with winter spiced glaze, weighed jacket

    Friday lunch (Mean Beanz again!
Friday tea - Ham (as HEB) fried eggs and jacket chips

I never tried Quorn before SW but its actually quite nice. What about trying that sausage caserole someone posted on here recently. Either you could use the quorn sausages which would (I think) be free on both days or you could use the Morrisons Eat Smart if you were on a red day. I really quite fancy the idea of yummy sausages mushrooms, peppers etc.

Or what about a nice vegetable stir fry (although dont overdo it on the soy sauce like I did yesterday, my stir fry was horrid!!

On the subject of quorn... which supermarket stocks the best range? Ive spotted certain products in the SW magazine for example thai fillets but I have not seen them in the shop

Hi Flat Eric, I get Thai fillets from Farmfoods, don't know if you have one near you, but they are £1 a pack,
They do other stuff to, like the mince, and pieces, sausages & burgers, all cheaper than the main supermarkets, but they only do the frozen foods, not the chilled.
