hi FLAT ERIC - you could swap the paprika for some cinnamon,ground or crushed and orange juice/zest,maybe some honey if you don't mind using the extra syns,would be nice and moroccany then so good served with couscous.if you did it on a green day you could use the lamb as an heb (don't need much meat for kebabs anyway) and have loads of veggie couscous and green salad with it.
i'm neutral so far,eating fruit salad at the mo but got quorn bangers to use up and leeks,ricotta and red cabbage!could be an interesting dinner....:T:jHalf a stone off,only another 2 to go!:j:T:D;)Cats are truly evil,like women....;):D:p

After being over weight for too long, Ive decided 6 Months ago to start excercising and now run at least 3 miles every other night, At the start I lost over 1 stone straight off but now still have weight to loose but its not going anywhere.
My wife has mentioned we do the Slimming World diet and as we wont goto the classes we brought the stuff of an auction site. Now looking through it some of it seems simple but others im not so sure of.
First off can you change each day i.e. Red day Monday and Green day Tuesday etc? Also im used to just having beans on toast for breakfast but does others have any other ideas, also for lunch as I work I usually take 6 slices of bread with ham and pickle and maybe a piece of fruit, what is there that I can do about packed lunch for while im at work?
Im not one for fancy stuff like melon or grapefruit for brekkie etc so basic ideas would be great.

How's everyone this morning :rolleyes: , well i can't go and get weighed today or tomorrow as got decoraters in putting right some of the faults wrong with my new home , its a whimpy house, so a bit !!!!ed off , ah well.
I don't feel like i've put on , so i'm going to have to make sure i'm extra careful this week until i do get weighed next monday (hit the water), because its so easy to slip when you don't get weighed .
Well having rice pudding with mixed fresh fruit on top :drool: :drool: :drool: for brekkie ,
quorn chillie , rice , potatoe wedges for dinner
beans on toast for lunch h/b
Gonna hit the recipey books for new idears to cook and freeze , make a shopping list of the s/w site to put in my bag with the syns already done on it ,so i can write the syns on it straight away when i unpack my bags .

Do you have anywhere to heat up food at work?
For brekkie you could still have the beans on toast for a green day, or to make it free sub the toast for a mountain of scrambled eggs..
On a red day I sometimes have a cheese(HEa) an onion omlette with bacon in it. Or a big filled bacon and quorn sausage toastie sandwich (bread HEb).
I'm sure others will be along with some more ideas for you.
Oh yeah I put on 1lb, which considering what I ate last week and the amount of alcohol I consumed is great...

mrning all, feel like giving up, stayed same again this week, so in total i have lost 2 pounds in three weeks on this diet, plus i'm getting fed up of thinking what to eat. i dont drink, or eat sweet things other than fruit and yogurts, am keeping within my syns and drinking loads what else can i doenjoy life, we only get one chance at it:)0

Well it's time for me to get serious, I think. Just got weighed and I weigh more than this time last week:mad:. I think my treats at the weekend are getting a bit out of hand and spoiling my week's hard work. So I'm going to buckle down and do a Peachey and scare the !!!!:eek: out of the scales
Whatever this diet does for me it has introduced me to some great new (to me) foods. Using sweet potato and butternut squash, as alternatives to potatoes (swede and cauli also nice mashed). My general dislike of fruit has made me turn to mango, pineapple and kiwi too. So, if you're getting bored, perhaps try something different;).:smileyheagpuss0 -

I'M gonna put flat-erics top 10 on again , i keep putting it on as sometimes we all need reminding.
Do you weigh you h/a & h/b ,why don't you put your food diarey on here everyday plus syns and we can all see if theres something little thats wrong , if you give up now your just put on weight and that will make you even worse hun , so chin up let us help you get through this , peachy x0 -

Got back off holiday yesterday and I had WI today and lost a pound since last week but it's only staying the same really as I put on the week before!
Anyway I'm back home now so am more in control and going to be serious, I'm withyou Gpuss - I intend to scare my scales.
Shazrobo, do you not have tto much to loose? I think that weight loss slows the closer to your target weight you get so it is harder going. Don't get too down hearted, perhaps try a few superspeed days?

Shaz, are you eating lots of different things every day, including some speed foods and mixing your red and green days, if possible? Are you eating plenty of free food?You need to eat well to keep your metabolism up. Maybe you could write down what you are actually having to make sure you are having your HEAs and HEBs as well. A look back over this thread will give you some ideas for meals and menus. That's often where I get ideas from for what to have when I'm stuck xxx:smileyheagpuss0
