If you blend frozen raspberries, sweetener and lite raspberry yogurt - instant icecream - is it sin free?

Im not sure it would be as the raspberries have been blended, fruit has a syn value if you blend it, something to do with sugar in it once blended?

  • i love raspberries too.i got 2 big punnets last week reduced to 50p each and froze them.what a bargain.

re-the raspberry ice cream thing,i think dlb's correct.however,if you have an ice cream machine(i do,they're ace and quite cheap)then you might get away with mixing plain and lite raspberry yogurt, churning for little while and just adding the raspberries for a couple of minutes before you freeze it.that way they'd give the ripple effect but wouldn't be pureed just slightly squashed!

They are 1.5 syns each but you can have 5 as 1x hea or 1x heb on a green day or 1x hea on a red day.

does anyone know which biscuits have the lowest syns?

It would be something like a rich tea finger I'm guessing.which is 1 syn each.

Just checked book and yes these are together with a 'morning coffee' 1 syn and a Amaretti 1 syn.

A choc digestive is 4.5 and a choc hob nob is 5 syns.

I was just going to say Morning Coffee are only 1 syn, but you beat me to it, Catt. I bought some of these just in case I get a biscuit urge;)

2-finger Kitkats are 5.5 syns, and are a nice chocolate fix, if you want one:D

    Hi All,

I haven't time to read right back through the posts, there are a few pages I have missed out on. But I will just say, welcome to anyone who's new, and well done to those of you who are sticking with it and losing.

I seem to be a bit stuck, one week I put on 1lb (or therabouts) and the following week I lose roughly the same. So for the last few weeks I have been just standing still really.

I will try a bit harder next week and I think I will make a menu plan, aiming for at least one red day to break up the week.

Could somebody please pm me the password......thanks.

Well I lost a stone since last August with SW and I am managing to keep it off but I cannot seem to get any lower, it is one pound on, one pound off, maintain, one pound on........so fed up!!! While I think SW is the best and healthiest eating plan around....I am heartily sick of it. All the recipes are the same ingredients over and over again....it all takes so much forethought.......I have given up bread, dont drink alcohol, never eat takeaways, very little fat etc......what the dickens are you supposed to cut down on.

Yes do have my chocolate but mostly synned. Just having a moan really.....please ladies, if you are under 40 and overweight, get it off now...when you are in fifties it is nigh on impossible to shift a few pounds. Taken me since last August to lose a stone!!!

OK I am not that big anyway, but it is so disheartening to hear of others losing 5lbs a week or even 2lbs. I am 9 stone 9 1/2 pounds and would like to get to 9stone 5 or a tiny bit lower. Anyone else had this and how did you get the gumption to get to that target??? I shall be paying for the rest of my life at this rate.
