I think you may be right charlies_mum, but that really would be so not me!!
I am going to lose at least 1.5lbs this week and if I dont then I think I should be evicted from this board (or too embarassed to vist again:o ).
I have a wedding to attend in early June that really should be enough to spur me on but my relationship with food is shocking at present.

morning all.
well done skint catt, you really deserve the new job and i'm really really pleased for you,
went to weigh in last night, and bloody maintained. been good all week so proper peed off. then went to a carvery and stuffed my face cos i'd maintained, so feel worse still for having a blow out. have so far refused chocolate thats hanging round due to easter, but i know i'm gonna give in,
why is it so hard sometimes, and why do i bloody maintain every so often when i been really good. its not even star week.
big hugs to everyone who needs one and well done to everyone who has lost and a big thank you to listening to my rant

Hi all,
After perusing the SW thread and Magazine that's it I've decided I've got to get back into SW again. I've lost lots over the years and know it works. However I've found it difficult to plan etc.. due to my job - but... I now have a new job, more time on my hands and the determination to get some more weight off!!!
As its Good Friday - (I must be a little mad with all the chocolate around) - I can't join a class and I've been considering whether to join online or not - if anyone has any experience of body optimise I'd love to hear your thoughts...
So far today.. chosen to have a red day - had a bacon omelette and a cup of tea but I've got some weight watchers yoghurts in my fridge - the lemon & lime one's and I don't wish to throw them away so I was wondering if anyone knows the syn values?
Thanks all..0 -
Congrats to all the losers and big hugs to choccie and 160, and anyone else who needs one. Just want to wish a great Easter to all the lovely, kind and helpful people on this thread. Losing weight is really hard, especially at this time of the year, so nice to have a place to console and encourage each other. You're all fab:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:smileyheagpuss0

After being really strict and having the self discipline to follow the plan all week , I go and mess it up again yesterday!!! Why do we do this? It's not as if i was missing the chocolate bars,(don't ask how many!), crean cakes, burgers, (def. don't miss those), the OH's remaining Baileys, or needed to spend money on my dinner. I even threw away my fresh fruit and veg, hid the packet cous cous back in the cupboard coz I didn't want OH realising what I had done.(Think she might know tho' coz I left the empty bottle out...ooops!).
Am I the only one who acts like this - denial to everyone else, including myself thinking that it'll wait one more day.....THB, I'm wondering if I can be self diciplined enuff.
To top it all off, I feel not only guilty, but grumoy and lethargic!
Thanks for listening,
Cheers you lot
Only 10 minutes of exercise completed this week tooAttend SW Tuesdays =
Walk to station every day = :j
3 workouts per week = None :embarasse
Plan my meals weekly = Nope:eek:0 -

Hi LoneR, if it is any consilation to you, you are not alone. I am also feeling a bit p.ed off with myself today.
Do you go to class or are you doing it yourself at home? I know a friend of mine said there is no way she could have kept it up if she wasn't atending class.
Also remember it does not need to all come off immediately, is there anyway you can maybe take the rest of the week off and start fresh next week, in the meantime you can maybe make a list of why you want to lose weight in the first place, this might give you back the motivation to do it.
I tried a dress on before, it wouldn't do up, so what do I do...jump on my excercise bike and pedal away whilst thinking about fresh fruit and water.....NO, I went immediately to the cupboard and scoffed a packet of crisps an a cereal bar.:o But as I suggested to you, I am taking the rest of this week off as there is no-way I can stick to it fully so i will just try and make sensible food choices when I can.
Sending you a dodgy hug anyway:grouphug: and hope you get your motivation back soon.

No worries, LoneR I think we've all done this before, so don't beat yourself up about it. When you know you've been bad you feel physically heavier and lethargic (I think that's the guilt too). I find it gets easier when you have lost quite a bit and you seem to feel more motivated not to spoil it, but you can still have your moments.
Just brush yourself off and start afresh - you have got the discipline, or you wouldn't even have made a start:T:T:T:T:T:T YOU CAN DO IT!!!!:smileyheagpuss0
