According to Home Biz Guide and Shares Week both seem to be saying that JBC offers a good package. Whom do you believe? Have receivced the sales patter from Paul James this afternoon - now awaiting to hear from me whether I want to pay a down payment of half (£4495), other half payable within the year so long as 20k profit has been realised. Further thoughts from anybody gratefully received.
  • Paul James is who I talked to, very good, talks about his sons school bills etc. I have the product. absolute rubbish and does not work in any way.
    Best advise you will recieve.
Im trying to get money back now. If anyone has advise would be greatly appreciated. I did not pay with credit card which seems to make it harder...

:mad:I am at the stage of getting a warrant issued-Global Shares did not respond to the judgement. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • I received a brochure from JBC (just like others) and enquired about this amazing opportunity. Chris Walker (Australian), went through the program and had a special offer (£3995 on credit card, with balance afer I made £20,000 profit) Asked him many questions and told him I would discuss with my wife and get back to him the next day. Before I had sat at my desk in the morning there was a call from Chris whom I turned down and said it wasn't something my wife would be interested in and thanked him for his time. 10 minutes later I get a call from Tony Smith (General Manager) wishing to speak to me and my wife and go through the program again - I told him my wife wasn't interested (just to get him off the phone) - was met with abuse and arrogance - don't listen to your wife, she's a women what would she know, haven't you got balls etc. I told him where to stick his program.

2 days later my brother gets the same brochure and the same deal from the same guy (difference was that my brother works in the industry in canary warf). After both Chris and Tony having difficulty answering questions on regulations etc he asked if he could meet them to discuss - shock horror they said yes, but not at their offices (due to security), and so would meet him at Wagamama's for lunch. Needless to say they did not show and since then my brother can't get hold of either of them.

MY ADVICE AVOID ANYTHING THAT CLAIMS TO MAKE MONEY FAST - Especially on the stock markets!!! Just remember if the program was so good wouldn't traders be using this and aviod spending countless hours analysing multiple screens and predicting price movements?

Far easier to put your £8000 into A stocks and shares ISA and let the experts deal with your money!!!
  • We too were contacted this week by JBC, they give quite an impressive pitch, but under some scrutiny they fail to answer fairly simple questions. We spoke to a couple of women, both english (Charlotte Crawford), I asked one if they were selling shares as well as buying (spreadbetting) and she did not seem to understand what I was talking about. I asked if she used the system and she admitted not, but said she was day trading so did not need the system???, but she did admit to her mother using it!!!

She also said that we could make £20000 with a starting investment of just £1000 ( after coughing up £3995 to them first?!) within 12 months:rotfl:

Thank goodness for sites like this for people to expose such scams.
  • My sister inlaw has received the dreaded green brochure from JBC yesterday morning (where do they get their data from?? we certainly aren't listed in any phonebook etc). Out of curiosity she contacted them and was met with (yep you've guessed it Chris Walker - he certainly has a lot of time on his hands for a very busy trader ) and again the same routine and 50% discount to £3,995. She refused the offer and 10 mins later the arrogant Tony called asking if Chris had explained the program clearly and so went the conversation about risk free - to which my sister inlaw responded the risk is £4K!!! Now he says he will offer to refund the whole lot if by month 13 she has made no money!!! She asked for it in writing and are now awaiting his email.

    Will inform of what happens:D

So nothing new there. Just a traditional scammers favorite. As used by Horace Batchelor's successful "Infradraw" scam way back in the '60s which claimed to win you money on the football pools and made him very rich.

Of course half the punters who bought his "system" won and half lost. He took nothing from all those who lost (but of course they lost the money on their bets) and took a cut of all the winning bets which those days paid a top prize of £75,000. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Horace_Batchelor

Anyone want to buy one of my magic 1p coins for just £1000? Pick your shares by tossing my coin. If half of you lose money you'll get your money back - guaranteed, and you can have that in writing. From the ones who win I keep the lolly.

There aren't any new scams, just new versions, and those old scams keep working.
  • To whom it may be of interest, I am an experienced trader in the forex, but as of a few months ago was made redundant.....!!!! happens !!! i have always thought of remote trading as of course the bennefits are great and theres no fat big wig reaking the rewards. I have been using the JBC software for about 3 months and like i thought so far so good, i'm on track for a much healthy income than ever before, partly due to the timing. now is a fantastic time to invest, a little reasearch would inform you of this. however before you go slaming trading platforms please do the reasearch as it is a fantastic way to earn a living.!!!!

You were employed as a forex trader, but you can't spell the words "research", "benefits" and "slamming"?

You signed up to this forum as a new user today, just to tell us in your first post how well you're doing with software that everyone else says is not worth buying?

And of course you will say that you have no connection with the company that sells the software...
