we have had an identical experience after recently investing in the GSL product
all the suggested deals expired due to 'spreads.
all except three that is and all made big losses.

We are claiming a full refund through the legal dept of our credit card .section 75 of the consumer credit act on the grounds of firstly total mis representation of the product in that the automatic max losss of 5% is not built into the system and also in that quite simply it doesnt work due to the vast number of expired deals.

to anybody thinking of trying the GSL product...

DONT. its rubbish.

I am embarrassed to say I let myself get sucked into this one. And yes it is a con. As well as the cost of purchasing the software I am loosing money on shares I was mug enough to purchase. I have written a letter to "Mr. Armstrong" asking for my money back. Has anyone got a refund from Global Shares?? I shan't hold my breath. :mad:

Has any one contacted trading standards re Global Shares. I am also a mug who was sucked in by this company.

yes like many of you i also have been scamed. i have contacted trading standards there advise to contact credit card company wanting a refund under section 75. have sent them all details regarding gsl. still waiting for gsl to respond regarding a refund. card company are looking in to the matter for me. will probable have to make a claim to the small claims court against both of them. hopefully will recieve money of card company who will in turn chase gsl for the money. any devolopment will post again.

If anyone has success with a refund either through GSL or their credit card, please help others by posting the details on here so that we can all follow suit.

I have rec'd their brochure and just had a long call from them. Same stuff repeated to me as others seem to have heard. I did a credit check on them and there is a £20k CCJ against them now from June 08.

I have not received a reply at all from Global Shares. I do want to word my letter to the Credit Card company correctly so if anyone can offer some advice and guidance in this respect it will be MUCH appreciated.

Same silly position for me however didnt use a credit card. Double trouble! I want out, Any advice? Ive not been using it for long.

Statistically people with the worry and the gremlins are going to be posting for help. If your a success then youll not be messing about on here looking to see if the software works. One cant help conclude these forums only ever see one side of the story. Could be why no help or advice has been posted too.
