  • DO NOT BUY THIS PROGRAM ITS A RIP OFF:mad:
  • Like many others I was ripped off by GSL Ltd,after trying all the normal methods to obtain a re-fund which included recorder delivery correspondence I finally decided to take the matter to the courts.
This cost me £100 and Mr.Armstong (GSL) never replied (surprise), to date a warrant has been issued for the total cost I am owed,
I would advise anyone with the same problems to use the same method as this could all be completed on line at www.hmcourts-service.gov.u.
As yet I am still waiting for a reply from the bailiffs and to be honest I am not very hopeful of receiving a full re-fund but believe that it will be best to try to stop this scammer from trading if possible.
I have reported Mr Armstong and GSL Ltd to trading standards and fully intend to take this matter much further in order to try and stop his scams.
  • Just upping this as it seems they have restarted under yet another name.

Got a brochure through with the same address and company number.

    Company name is
    GSi
    tower 42
    international financial centre
    25 old broad street
    London EC2N 1HN
    0800 783 9439

at least according to the brochure i got through the post today.
    2012 wins
  • Just a quick thankyou to all who have been decent enough to write posts on GSI. I today received there very impressive glossy brochure and the promise of a free lap top if I called today ( methinks they are getting a little desperate).

On the upside the brochure was a lovely deep red so was able to take to B and Q to colour match for my new colours for the house, so on the upside many thanks GSI, thats about all they are good for !!!!!!
  • I truly hope we all receive refunds as Daka has done. I am ropable that they have started under another name.
  • I recieved a brochure and phone call yesterday, so thought id do abit of a check on it, so thanks to everyone who posted on here,

hope the rest of you who were unfortunate to get roped in are better off now
  • Global shares filed a 'Certificate of Incorporation on Change of Name' on 10th October 2008. The name has changed to JB Capital and Global Shares Investment Solutions Limited. I googled this name and looked on this site, but no hits that warn you not to deal with JB Capital... so I thought it best to post this warning so if anyone receives a brochure from JB Capital... and googles for info on them they will see this post.

DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY

They sent me their stuff via the post and gave me a demo, same stuff rang me a went from 8k to 4k but that offer closed but they have kept it open for me.

Same bloke (Scott Micheals) gave me the, If I wasn't happy I could claim it back on my card talk.

I downloaded all the data from companies house, best fiver I've spent, the company is basically dormant, they might files some accounts this year, bought off the shelf just to give it some history of been around for a few years, negative balance sheet as well.

There's one director/shareholder and he's called Chris Kelly( another austrailian, might even be scott micheals, was told he was the companies top trader).

He lives at an address where there's a company registed called questbern Ltd, deals in property from what companies house says, they're on 020 7722 8448.

The software does appear to be real, now as to if it works that is a different matter, I've also found some cheaper software for about 500 dollars(metastock, end of day) and he was kind enough to tell me where the data comes from (edodata.com) and that's free, so I might throw some cash at that.

Also got this phone number 02033557647 which might be the real number behind the 0800
  • i had chris walker on the phone today guess where he,s from? correct australia sounded to good to be true and reading these it is, thanks i was nearly hooked
  • I had a call, would I like a brochure on some software to manage investment, which came and was followed up by Chris Walker. Wow the bushwacker was good, nearly convinced me. But there was no background on the net, just their site. He tells me look as parent company JBC Pty Limited. Sure its on ASIC.gov.au but nothing generally on the web - something as big as he claims they are would surely have some presence. I am suspicious.
Then I found this thread! The whole model is EXACTLY like Global. Same address but Phone 0800 917 2306, £8k but special offer THIS WEEK ONLY £4k pay the rest when you've made your first 20K. The same guarantees - in addition I would get my 4k back after 13 months if I had not made it by then. They are now calling themselves simply JBC which is clever - when you search you get lots of rubbish - Journal of Biological Chemistry - Google chimes in 'Did you mean JCB' etc etc. website is investjbc.com

    Phew a narrow escape
IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE IT PROBABLY IS.
Or for Robert Heinlein fans "TANSTAFL"

Or can such a program succeed if implemented with integrity???
