cid49 phones you have to use gslide/setool2liteSorry for being a dunce but I have a K800i on vodafone is unlocking it something I can do? I have had it 11 months if that makes a difference. We don't have a phone stall in my local market, I think there may be a local shop I could take it into, would theybe able to unlock it there?
Thanks0 -
I will try to be brief...
I bought a 2nd hand Sharp GX 15 about 3 years ago.It was unlocked from Vodaphone and I put my 02 simcard in it.
I love the phone, but have never been able to access the GRPS.I have never used the bluetooth facility or sent picture messages.
I got in touch with Sharp mobile support and talked to a guy who went with me step by step to try to rectify this.
After an hour (on an 0870 number, still 10p per minute from my landline using 18185...GGrrrr!) we did all we could, resetting various parts of the phone, and he came to the conclusion that it wasn't unlocked properly by the guy I bought it from.I bought it from a shop in Brighton, and he had loads of 2nd hand phones.'Perry' said that I would have to get in touch with Vodaphone to see if I can get it properly unlocked. But he added that he wasn't sure if they would help because it was unlocked from Vodaphone in the 1st place...
He gave me a number to get in touch with Vodaphone, but it was a mobile.Perry said that was the only number he had for them.I just rang them (10p per minute) and after listening to all the waffle and pressing lots of buttons I finally got through...And there was silence. No one was there.
Apart from E mailing Vodaphone,I'm not sure what to do next.
Has anyone any ideas??
Thanks.0 -

Hi
Can anybody help me unlock my LG KE790, at present it's locked to T Mobile but I want to change it to Orange PAYG? Can I do it for free or do I need to take it to the shop?
Thanks for your help0 -
I've got a SE K610i which I want unlocked. Is it true that the network can unlock the phone? In my case, it's Orange and I want to use an O2 sim. Do you lose datei.e. vids, pics when you get it unlocked? Thanks for any advice.0

Can somebody please help me?
I've got a SE K770i on vodafone and want to unlock it so I can use a US sim card in it when I go on holiday.
Is this possible via a code? Lots of sites seem to say it is, then I've seen reference to flashing it or something.
I can get to a menu where it wants me to enter the code, so I presume that's how I do it?
How do I do it, or rather what's the most simple cheap/free way to unlock the phone?
I've searched for the software to generate a code, but with no luck
Many thanks

Was bought for my birthday locked to tesco network, Iam O2 and would like to stay with O2, I took it to a mobile phone shop about a month ago and they told me they were unable to unlock it, I have since been back and they told me it would cost £30 (ouch). I then tried on the internet and they took my money and then e mailed me to say they were unable to unlock it so I am a bit worried to do anything more. Am hoping someone might be able to help me?:o X0

Well, I did ask on here about how to do the above and the thread seems to have been moved/deleted/pointed to another thread.
It's now sorted. For future reference, as I couldn't find this information on here ....
I thought it'd be worth asking vodafone how much they'd charge for the code..
He gave me the code over the phone. No charge, they give it out free for anybody who's been with them for 12 months +
I had to press left, *, *, left at which point it prompts for the number
Enter, press ok and hey presto - unlocked.
Not cost me a penny either.0
