I took my sagem myc5-3 into the market today and was told that, due to the new technology it uses, it would have to be sent away for 4 days and would cost £15. As the phone itself was only £30 (reduced in New Year sales) I decided it wasn't worth it and have bought an equally cheap Nokia2760 from 02. I can now get 02 broadband for £7.50 per month complete with 8meg download, free wireless kit, and free connection until 30/3/08.

I have been told by Virgin Mobile today that all you need is the unlock code to type in from the keypad. However everywhere else on the Internet says you need a cable and some software. If you bought the phone from Virgin direct you have to have spent £30.00 on calls or pay them £30.00 top-up fee and they will give you the code.

My DD has an LG Chocolate on Orange PAYG. She's costing me a small mortgage in top-ups so i have an O2 Simplicity sim card for her (free texts etc.)

Can i get the LG unlocked for free or am i in for a trip to the market tomorrow?

Hi, has anyone a code for unlocking the SE W580i. I contacted SE and they told me to contact O2, which I did but they wont give me a code unless I have been with them for a year and then they want £15 to do it after that.
