The unlocker I used to get an unlock code for my Blackberry curve ( unlocks.co.uk - sorry, it won't let me post links because I'm a new user ) is running some kind of Twitter promotion. You have to follow them on Twitter and ReTweet and they will send you a free unlock code for any Blackberry.
A few weeks too late for me because I paid them £4.99 for my unlock code lol. Thems the breaks eh :cool:0 -

I would love an unlock for my Google G1 - newly acquired from a friend - it's scratched but I love it.

Be very careful, there are a plethora of places you can get free codes for Samsung, however some of the codes available WILL destroy your phone!
I have lost count of the number of Samsung phones I have seen with an IMEI of 000000000000000 caused by the entry of free codes found online. Here's the problem - re-programming of the IMEI is illegal in the UK, so if this happens to your IMEI after entering a free code, you're left with an expensive door stop!

agree , I'd avise anyone to avoid dodgy "free" codes and bite the bullet to pay a shop or market stall to do the unlock
it's what I do ( and if you look at the first post this is my thread )Ex forum ambassador
