Free codes for Unlocking Phones OTHER than Nokia's Thread 3

Hi.

Littlewoods direct have the LG Viewty (orange branded) at £199. I've used a code to get it for £182.50 but have started to get nervous about getting it unlocked.

I'm expecting to be able to phone orange, pay them £30 or so and have them unlock it for me. I want to use a Virgin contract SIM in the phone, it looks to be an orange PAYG currently.

Anyone care to comment on whether this will be possible? I know that they are hard to unlock and wouldn't want to do anything other than ask for a code from Orange.

I'm a dreaded newby with a T Mobile MDA Vario to unlock. Have you tried Browntoa's advice for the SDA? Did it work?

If not suitable for MDA Vario can anyone advise how I would unlock it. IMEI is: 35638100079604905.

Use at your own risk.

You could try the software at following location if you have the USB cable with the phone. Install the usb driver for you phone then load up the software. connect it to your pc via the usb cable. select the model and com port and click unlock. DO NOT CLICK ANY OTHER BUTTON !

I used it to unlock a few E900's wthout any problem. You can unlock over 300 samsung phones with this software.
