Can this be unlocked as would rather be on O2.
TIA for advice.
Try Tesco mobile as it is the same network as O2 and the deals look goodSpending my time reading how to fix PC's,instead of looking at Facebook.0 -

I've used Aerix (provided in a previous post) to unlock my SE C905. It seemed to have worked as it ended with 'Successful.'
I took out my Vodafone SIM and put in the Orange SIM but on the front screen it just says Inactive SIM.
Do I have to do something more with the phone to get it to recognise it? When I put the Vodafone SIM back in it works fine.
All help greatly appreciated0 -
Hello,
My friend recently got t-Mobile G2 phone on his contract. He don't want this phone and willing to give it to me for very cheap. I use O2 sim. I believe this phone will be locked to T-Mobile.
I was wondering if anyone has got a G2 and got it unlocked for cheapest (free if possible). I know some online sites offer unlock codes but many of them are bogus and I am afraid of passing credit card detail to them. However if anyone here has got it unlocked then I can go for it.
Can you please let me know if G2 can be unlocked ,price for unlocking and site name .
I need to inform my friend by tomorrow oherwise he will put this up in ebay for much higher price.

Hi
Is it possible to unlock a Sony Ericsson C903 & a Sony Ericsson W595 (both Used on '3' Network)0 -
Sorry to be thick, but I can't follow the instructions that you used to unlock your E1120.
After pushing the SIM partaially in then replacing the battery the instructions say to push the SIM in fully without turning off the phone, but the SIM holder is under the battery, and I can't manage to push the SIM fully in without lifting the battery, which makes the phone turn off!
How did you do it?
Read your post and the original. I managed to slide the sim fully in by just lifting up the battery a little and using a cocktail stick. As long as the battery maintains its contacts you are ok. I did the first two resets ok but my problem came when I tried to type in the long string every time I got to the 8 zeros bit they came out as - (hyphens) and I couldn't seem to get the case to change without inserting a gash character. I think this is the method that prob sells on ebay as a temp fix because I note that if you pull the battery out then you have to repeat the operation unless you know the password to the network lock which I cannot seem to set to zeros. Would appreciate any advice if anyone has suceeded in doing the whole operation.0 -
