Worked on a Samsung E1120 too 10 stars to the author and a very big thank you too
Sorry to be thick, but I can't follow the instructions that you used to unlock your E1120.
After pushing the SIM partaially in then replacing the battery the instructions say to push the SIM in fully without turning off the phone, but the SIM holder is under the battery, and I can't manage to push the SIM fully in without lifting the battery, which makes the phone turn off!
How did you do it?0 -
Is it possible to obtain an unlock code for an HTC SPV E650? I have found programs for both the universal and Hermes ranges but not this one. I have a usb lead for this so any help appreciated.0

I lost my iphone right, which is incredibly gay in its self, however whats even worse is right now i cant afford to pay the excess on the insurance to get it replaced.
I borrowed a samsung SGH-Z140 from a mate of mine and its currently locked to vodafone australia.
My sim card is optus. I have been looking absolutely everywhere for a method to generate the correct code to unlock this phone, yet my search has been fruitless.
I am extremely tech-savvy and if anyone can find a solution I guarantee ill be able to do it - as long as it actually does work.
I know im not supposed to ask for codes here but ill post details anyway:
Samsung SGH-Z140
Imie: 354889014533671
If anyone knows of any >FREE< website or software that might work please let me know!
Thanks in advance,

Here is my recent experience of unlocking my Blackberry 9700
Purchased an unlock code from http://unlockingonline.com/ on Saturday 7th Nov for my BB Bold 9700.
After about an hour, I got five codes sent through. This didn’t fill me with confidence, as I would have thought it was one IMEI, one unlock code.
I tried all five codes, and each one failed. I then went through a long list of Q+A’s on their website and waited for a response.
First contact came from them 48hrs later! Prior to this I had made contact with Cellunlock .net from Crackberry, who guaranteed a single code, and a guaranteed unlock.
I paid Cellunlock who also offer Crackberry members a 50% discount, and within a few hours got a single unlock code, which worked first time....GBP Price = £12 including the discount.
Finally at 18:19hrs on Monday 9th, got my first response from Unlockingonline’s (mobileunlocked.com) support, asking for more info! The original codes had been sent on 7 November 2009 at 16:30, so slightly over 48hrs for first response to support request.
I replied today asking for a refund, not confident, that when the BB becomes permanently locked after 10 attempts to use this company any further, and they replied with an immediate no……48hrs to reply to a request for support, less than half an hour to decline a refund.
I then replied, telling them to keep the refund, but that I would post feedback to various forums, to prevent other people experiencing what I had experienced.
Within 5 minutes, a threat of legal action for defamation! But they did include a useful link to what defamation means on Wikipedia
Draw your own conclusions about using this company folks.0 -
just Unlocked my HTC S620 , thought I'd share the method (was locked to BT)
1) no free codes but purchased a code for £7 from an ebay seller with loads of good feedback
2) put another network sim card in the phone , turned on and enter the code when asked (you get asked twice)
3) phone should now show other network on the display
4)Reset the phone to default to remove any Operator software
a. Press and hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
b. Press and hold power button for around 1 to 1.5 seconds. Release power button. Keep hold soft1 and soft2 keys.
c. Later, screen should show instructions to ask user to press '0' key to reset to factory default. (may ask you to press "send" )
d. Press '0' within the timeout period, which is only several seconds only.
e. If no instruction is shown on the screen, repeat steps 1 to 4.
The timing is sensitive.
5) download this tool to set up the network settings for you
http://www.teamatlas.co.uk/page6.html
Click here to download this handy file. .Extract the files from the archive and run them on your PC. ActiveSync must be installed. Tick the required network and then install the cab ,
the phone should now be fully unlocked and working on your desired network , send a text etc to confirm
please note, the hard reset removes all your settings and downloaded apps from the phone , back them up firstEx forum ambassador

Hi - hope someone can help. I have a Samsung G600 mobile phone, and got it unlocked today (was with Virgin) so that I could change provider. When I put in the new SIM card, it asked me for the 'SP' (Service provider) code. I rang Virgin, who I was tied to, and they said it would cost me £15 to get that code  Will I ever be free of wretched Virgin mobile ....
Can someone point me to somewhere I can get the code cheaper? I looked here on the forums but couldnt find anything to help, and am a bit wary of dodgy dealers on Ebay.
Many thanks
