Apologies in advance to Browntoa & Gaming Guy, I have read the thread that says a K800i needs to be unlocked at a market etc. or with a cable, Is this the cable that came in the box?
However, how can Vodafone unlock them with a code? Is there a free code generator somewhere? I still have a VF contract but my K800i was bought 6 months ago on payg to replace the contract Nokia 6300 that got driven over. (Don't ask  )
I now want to use the phone on O2 with my works sim so need it unlocked, but not bothered about the branding.
Do I stump up the 20 notes  that VF want? as I don't know of any shops / markets in my area.

    Any ideas gratefully received.

i've tried loads of sights but they just take my money then tell me to ring a 0870 or 09 number which cost me more money.

6300 BB5 phone I’m afraid, only your network provider, or a professional unlocker can help here, the same for the LG contact your network provider, or a pro unlocker.
Thanks for this. Would I be right in thinking that by 'pro unlocker' you might mean the man in the market offering to unlock phones for £10?

    Cheers

You can do it for free using the DCU-60 cable in the box - done it before on a K800i (although can't remember how LOL)

    Hi

Does anyone know of an unlock code for an LG KP100 currently locked to t-mobile?

Or would I need to take it to get unlocked?

    Advice gratefully received. :D
  • Hi

My son has just won a sony ericsson w595 in a competition. It is on the 3 network but it came with no sim card. Can you unlock a mobile with no sim card inside or will he have to get a 3 sim card before he can unlock it to you on ogrange who he is with. If yes how?
