    I want to use my old E370 for my son as his other was stolen, I have a new sim from 3 and when put in it says insert sim so I'm assuming it is locked. Is this correct and I also think that to unlock it I need to buy a clip. Any help appreciated please.

    I have a W850i locked with 3. I just finshed an 18 month contract with them for this handset and signed up to a new contract again with 3 and have recieved a new handset. I asked them to unlock my old fone (W850i) and they want me to pay. I tried using the patch thing but i dont have a clue wot im doing. is there no way i can just type in a unlock code like for most fones? my heads completly melted trying to understand that akshayy.com thing and im obviosuly doing it wrong coz it wont do nethng!:confused:
