sandhabibi wrote:Well done you! My 4month baby keeps me busy enough lol. Try freecycle.org this is a site where ppl give things away & once you have put something on offer there you will be able to ask for things, I've just got a highchair from it in really good condition. This is a thread about freecycle, hope this helps you
just wanted to add that i agree freecycle is great, esp for kiddies stuff, but you don't have to offer anything before you reply to a post. also you can place wanted ads, you don't need to have offered anything though, well that's in my area anyway. It's definitely not definately!0 -
The rules for my freecycle board stipulate that your first post must be an 'offer' and then you may place 'wanted' posts after that. It's a great site, I offload a lot of my stuff on there.0

hope that helps.Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0 -
I have 2 children under 2 and instead of buying huggies and pampers i started trying asda's own nappies. For nearly 1/2 the price of huggies and pampers they do a better job.Plus buying a box of nappies is a saving in it self!

was gonna say freecycle too! try emailing companies & asking for samples, hipp sent me spoons & follow on milk which i pased to friend as no use to me, got some jars of food & porridge from somewhere else but can't remember as have used them! bio bambini or something like that i think, had never heard of them, i just googled baby food & emailed some companies if that helps.
personally my babies didn't keep scratch mitts on so i used socks on their hands so don't worry about buying mitts if u can't get free ones! also a tea towel or prefold nappy with a peg holding it on makes a good bib if u have none.
good luck with the baby!Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!0
