chun wrote:I worked in a well known charity shop with the green logo and today we sold a brand new baby cot and mattress which would have cost £200 in a shop beginning with M. for £65. One of our customers advised us on the price. So I think you should try charity shops because we have a health and safety rule and can only sell it if it is safe to do so.I do know you want new things for your baby though so this just something for you to think about. Please do not be offended by my posting. My niece is due to have a baby next week and I have been asked to be with her in labour.I am apprehensive even though I used to be a midwife!May I wish you all the very best.
I think your shop is expensive!
Hope that doesn't sound silly (or rude) as i know its a charity shop, Do you have to pay rent, I only ask as somethings in there actually cost more than they did origionally and the new stuff is extortionate.
I think its a real shame if you do need to pay rent.0 -
Sign up to your local freecycle - usually loads of freebies on there for children and a good way to get rid of some of your stuff before the baby arrives.Oh and congrats! The Best Things in Life Are Free0
