don't forget freecycle for a bed smashed, also for a washing machine too. We got our one from there and it is fab, it was younger than the one it was replacing:rotfl:

Hi peeps, had a really good day. Decorated my living room. Have found a cooker. 50.00. Its like new. So well chuffed. A friend of mine used to have the same sofa and chair as mine, she has bought new leather suite now and she has given me matching loose covers and curtains to match from her old suite. So at least i can cover up the burn in mine. Only one hitch today. Have had a letter from planning office. My landlord has put in planning permission to build 4 flats in my garden and next doors garden. He owns both properties. Ther are a lot of objections though. Mind you i am not a big gardener so maybe a blessing in disguise. Went to auction rooms today to look for a washing machine but no luck. Freecycle not come up with one either as yet. x x x x x x

Morning peeps. I hope everyone is well today, Finished my living room today. Took 3 coats of paint. I am selling my big old car thats costing me a fortune in petrol every week. almost 80.00 a week. Its an old jeep. Going look for a nice little car today that will run on fresh air if possible ot at the very least cut my fuel bills in half. And no not getting finance. Am looking for a cheap run around and work up from there when i have saved a bit more money. Am not going to have sky at all. Not had it at my friends house the last 3 months and i have not missed it. So more money saved. I have informed rates office i am a single person so i will get my single rebate. And i have paid off 2 small debts this week. A long way to go but as we keep saying, baby steps for now. xxxxxxxxxx

Just found your thread today, and wanted to say well done on getting the new house!! I've been following MOT for months, and can't wait for her to get the keys, so I was so excited to see things have come good for you at last.

Good luck with everything, and keep up the hard work (I get tired just reading about your shifts). Sounds like the payslips are making it all worthwhile though! xx

I am sooooo chuffed. Working all day today and tomorrow. Taking sunday off so i can sort bed out and finish painting bedrooms. Tescos have a sofa that is very reasonable, so i can replace my burnt one. Its out of stock at mo so will try again for it next week. x x x

Hi peeps, well i ahve picked up my cooker at lsat. A bargain. A plumber friend of mine has been doing some in a kitchen and the owners were sellling the cooker they took out. It like brand new. And cost me only 50.00. He is looking out for a washing machine now. Never thought of asking the people i know like that to be on look out for me. Bought my bed yesterday. Got a deal on that for cash. They knocked 70.00 off it. Feeling rather pleased with myself. Hope everyone is ok. xxxxxxxx
