Diary of rebuilding my life

Hi guys,
Well, yesterday i looked at a house. It was lovely. Right size, right place. So have bitten the bullet and applied for it. The refs have been sent off so just waiting to hear now. I was told i may need a guarantor. I hope not, but if i do i will have to get my thinking cap on. I have spoken to all my creditors today. And my debt is not as bad as i thought at first. Having said that i have been paying off what i can when possible. I have made arrangements with everyone to pay off only what i can afford. I really need to get myself back into my own home with all my things around me. As some of you may know i have been living with friends since my split. And all my possesions are scattered halfway around yorkshire. So am going to start a diary just so i know that i am back on the road to rebuilding my life.

Water rates 400
Talk talk 164
Car 3200 , in dispute
Provident 1100 Yeah yeah i know. Please dont shout at me
Sky 54.00

All these are old debts from my old house and from after me and my ex split up. I am now in full time employment so can start paying this little lot off. Am paying 15.00 for rates. 20.00 for water rates. Talk talk gonna pay them off next week. Sky the week after. Provident 40.00 a month. The car am still in dispute over so payments on hold.

When i do get me house i wont be having sky. Will be freeview.
Not sure what my bills are going to be just yet but will update when i get to find out.

Thank you so much. Yes just for once a bit of luck would not go amiss for a change. In my case i always said there was light at the end of the tunnel. Why the hell did it have to be the VAT man with a torch. And to the lovely people on here, it has been the talking and the hugs and support that has helped me get o this point. I remember my thread, Smashed needs a hug. I was at my lowest point. I was so near to doing something silly. But you know, just knowing that there are so many people in the same situation and we can all support each other is worth more than any amount of money. And to someone who posted on another thread about hugs etc. Those hugs mean so much to some of us. Sometimes virtual hugs are the only ones we might get for weeks. Money maybe in short supply but support, hugs, kisses, cuddles. Well, thank god we are all or most of us rich with those. And are able to give freely. And long may it continue like that x x x x x

Hi chick, i should find out about the house in the next few days. I am bricking it. Did not sleep last night at all. And i think the same will happen tonight. I want my own home again. I have driven past stourton almost every day this week. well, gone past it on the M1. The traffic on motorway has been a nightmare this week.

Thanks everyone, i am going to keep this thread going this time. Going to be my diary as such, it 08.50 and dont seem to have slept very much last night. Am sat waiting for work to ring me with some shifts for the resr of week. And then the estate agent to ring about the house . I do know what i can achieve. But am really fed up of folk saying you sure yiur doing the right thing. if some folk had there way i would be moving to outer mongolia. Not happening. Its my turn to make my own decisions.
