Well just phoned up the court and i'm all booked in for monday morning 10am, also just got back from docs and been put on their stop smoking help thingy (been prescribed champix as well which is apparently quite good).. lots of changes seem to be going on for me, quite nervy really but know that it's all for the best

Just got to finish those d*mn forms now, they seem never ending!!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
Quick question with regards to my job..
My official job title is European VAT Accountant (booo hiss .. i hear ya
)
Up until a month ago i didn't have a passport, i know nothing about vat and i'm not a qualified accountant (and no intention of becoming one).. really i'm a financial analyst (number cruncher, databases, spreadsheets etc), i've checked my contract and there's nothing in there that says i need to tell them if i go bankrupt. I'm going to ask them to change my job title in my next review but i just wondered if that job title might give cause to the OR to delve into my job a bit more? can i just put analyst? not really sure if this is an issue or if i'm just getting myself wound up closer to the court day:o:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -
Hi Waspeze,
Your job title won't make any difference to what the O.R thinks or does. I was working as a finance and performance officer when we were declared bankrupt and it was never mentioned.
I can't even remember where they got my job title from.
Next question.:D

Well that's the forms all filled out, phew.. pushed it a bit fine, have my court appt tomorrow morning at 10am!
Just to check (think i've got it right), all I need for court is the Debtors Bankruptcy Petition, the statement of affairs and the fee? Also taking some ID to open a coop acct afterwards!
I presume all the "proof" of payments and income etc aren't needed for court, only when the OR requests them?
Don't think i'm going to sleep too well tonight!:hello:Save a little money each month and at the end of the year you’ll be surprised at how little you have.An eye for an eye only ends up making the whole world blind0 -

But i'm making a start on a new life,just like you.
I did'nt see a judge so i was lucky,but others on here have and said it wasn't a bad as they expected.

As the others have said you'll be fine. The thought is worse than the deed.
