Does anyone know whether The Works in Worthing are closing down - there are two shops in Worthing.

Can confirm solihull store doesnt have this offer on, its still 10 for £1 and theres a very poor selection of cards!

Just been to Bolton town centre store and there's no cards but loads of stuff reduced to 5p. It's my son's birthday party on Sunday with 30 kids invited so I got loads of party bag things like pencils, erasers and medals with winner on for the games.

Edit...this shop closes on Sunday 9yh March so may be more bargains if less choice over the weekend.

I have just been to the one in kidderminster, it was fantastic got about 60 cards for a quid, if thats not a bargain i dont know what is!! also got xmas cards for 5p and some writing sets for 1 and a book for 2quid, there was so much stuff there i had to take it back to the car! shame i didnt find this out sooner. xx

Bags of cards in the Works Worcester for £1 but bags are sealed so you can't see what you are getting. Someone had opened one and the selection looked pretty poor.

On a brighter note they had lots of stationary stuff and calenders at 5p and 10p.

Just counted the bag of cards I bought and there are 104!!! (They were rather squashed in). :j

I must pop into my local Works. OH family is massive and are always having birthdays so would come in very handy. Also if they are going to start selling their books of cheaper as well I could boost my collection

P.S Dont tell OH about books. Hee hee. He thinks I've got enough for a library already.
