The Works Bromley today - got rubber masks for 50p each (less 25% at till) Homer (adult) and Bart (child) - fab bargain - plus they had halloween masks and all sorts of other bargains - 10p computer games (again less 25% so only 7 1/2p) and my son thinks they're all pretty cool!

Didcot was open today - and staff said they were not closing down tho chap said Reading has already closed - how true those statements are I dont know. Got bags full of Christmas stuff today all at 5p!!!! Packs of cards, winnie the pooh wrapping paper, tubes of ribbons and bows, some decorations, christmas stickers, crafty stuff, red felt cowboy hats....the list is endless. I spent £2.75 on 55 items. One lady in there had over 200 items and her bill was just under £11.00. Dont know what she was going to do with it all - tho sounded like PTA school type person from things she was saying - maybe Christmas fayre or something. Might pop back up tomorrow morning and see if anything left. Just need to find a place to store it all now .....:D

I was in Gloucester today and they have the Closing Down 'Really'!!! signs up - when I checked they said they were closing on the 17th ... lots of 5p calendars in there and fill a bag for £1 cards (but limited range) ....

went up town yesterday the works in cirencester is also closing down as well
i will miss the shop as i get loads of stuff in their no date for closing thou

Chester dont have the 'fill a bag for £1' offer, just 10 for £1 and 5 easter cards for 5p. Not any HUGE bargains in there, but they did have plenty of books going cheap and sunglasses for 10p a pair.

Solihull had 10 cards for £1.00 and calenders for 5p each some bloke brought about 50 Saturday lol dont think they're closing down

The Works on the Moor in Sheffield just has reduced signs up, no mention of closing down. had loads of books outside for 30p or less, had fill a bag with cards for £1 (but not many left, mainly christmas cards, hardly any envelopes to match, but could be good for crafters wanting little pics to cut out and save). Apart from that, from the very quick look I had, not many other bargains but going back for a good long look tomorrow in case Ive missed anything!
