I've been corresponding with a gorgeous little boy since last summer, it has brought so much so our lives as well as his. It teaches my children that others aren't as lucky or as healthy as they are and they love hearing what the little boy has been up to and often send him pictures they've made or little presents. I'd thoroughly recommend it!

Today in the works in Newastle-under-lyme they were selling all the christmas stuff off at 5p each. This included rolls of wrapping paper. There wasnt a lot left but the offer could be nationwide.

the works in kidderminster is closing down on the 15th march, i was in there earlier today and the assistant manager told me

Hey all, thought i would let you know i have popped into the works today (Bromsgrove) and they have 10 cards for £1 but they are not very good cards.

Kidderminster sounds much better value for money!

There are no signs up about them closing down or anything like that and the xmas stuff is at 33p, no big bargains in there just yet!

Thanks OP I popped into my Works today and also got a fill a a bag for £1 The cards were lovely and I must've got at least 50 the sales assistant was helping me fill the bag lol

I have been into the Durham store and they are selling off loads of stock.

Lots of stuff but I didn't have time to browse more thoroughly.

I went into The Works in Watford yesterday, as the window was plastered with signs saying "Closing March 9th", but they didn't seem to have altered any prices at all.

Will check again later in the week.
