chaotic_j its people like you on ebay that make it such an !!!! of a place to do business. I had an identical problem with a buyer last week from Austria who bought 2 laptops from me.
Firstly he mailed saying P&P was quite expensive, after he bought it, so i thought i would check out the new DHL rates and i was able to offer him some discount down to £40 per package on a next day european delivery. However he didnt seem to be able to grasp the simple fact that he won two different auctions and had to pay 2 delivery rates. Why should a seller compramise the way they pack something just to suit a buyer? I dont want to put 2 laptops into a single package with the risk of damaging them.
The sellers rates were clearly laid out before you bid. You entered the contract to buy said items with the seller based on the FACTS clearly listed before your very eyes. I hope he does NPB you on the 7 items and your kicked off the site. Just as im enjoying NPBing this Austrian time waster today.:: No Links in signatures please - Edited by Forum Manager ::0 -
Wasting your time mate, you give advice and even if it is correct and honest and sensible, some people just don't want to listen because its not what they want to hear (and others accuse you of being insulting and patronising  )0

Just spent a very entertaining 20 minutes reading through this one -- thanks for that chaps
Has to be said that if the seller had been feeling mischievous, if you had finally paid, he could have sent all seven PCBs in *huge* individual boxes to clutter up most of your hallway....
This one reminds me of an unfortunate episode a couple of years ago. I set up an auction for some packs of DVDR blanks with £2.50 postage (a reasonable sum) for each pack of 25. Unfortunately for me I messed it up and the upshot was that the postage charge was £2.50 regardless of the number ordered.
Some wise soul then decided to stuff me by buying all 15 and only paying one P&P. Lost a tenner on that one. Live and learn.
I always bid based on overall amount. I couldn't care less whether or not a seller profits on postage; I just want the goods at a reasonable price (i.e. cheaper than buying from an established online place).0 -
