When my DD was 16 months she was not a cuddly baby. One day (Tuesday) she wanted to be cuddled while she had her bottle. She was lying on my lap and smiling away. I thought she was smiling at me until I realised that she was looking at the ceiling. I thought nothing of it. She carried on like this on the Wednesday and Thursday morning.
At lunchtime on the Thursday just before I had to go to work, my cousin phoned to tell me that my Grandad had had a big stroke on the Tuesday morning and wasn't going to pull through. He'd been unconscious since then. When I got home from work that evening DH told me that my Auntie had phoned and said Grandad had died.
DD stopped looking at the ceiling.
I found out about 2 weeks later that I was pregnant with DS.
When I had DS on 19/12 we were sitting on the sofa the next day. She suddenly pointed up to the shelf that had her advent calendar on it and announced to the room "Grandads up there".
She never knew anyone else as Grandad and I think he'd come to see us.
The first time he came to say goodbye and then he came to see the new baby. He was over the moon when DD was born as he loved being a Grandad and a Great Grandad.
Now we live in a Victorian house which has someone living there. We think it's Doris the previous owner who lived there for 50 years until her death.
We regularly hear people walking up and down as do our neighbours.
Nothing sinister in this.
When we did some work in the house we did have a sinister night. Both kids kept waking up crying, neither of us could sleep that night and then I had to get up to see to DD who suddenly appeared in our doorway. All the light suddenly sucked away from her and she started howling. I was absolutely bricking it. I told them to go away and stop frightening the children.
Our night sister at work advised me to get this particular entity seen to as it meant harm. Any other entities we have seen/felt/heard have a bening feeling. It's only a presence, someone else there. Generally when we are under great stress and it seems to be looking out for the kids- the same as next door. We don't have a firewall in our loft so both lofts are joined. I think the entity moves between our houses.Debt: 16/04/2007:TOTAL DEBT [strike]£92727.75[/strike] £49395.47:eek:   £43332.28 repaid 100.77% of £43000 target.MFiT T2: Debt [STRIKE]£52856.59[/STRIKE] £6316.14 £46540.45 repaid 101.17% of £46000 target.2013 Target: completely clear my [STRIKE]£6316.14[/STRIKE] £0 mortgage debt. £6316.14 100% repaid.0 -

If you can talk at the time and something scares you just say
"You need to go now. Go away, you are scaring me."
If you can't say it, think it. Failing that, pm me with your location and I will try and find someone local to you who can help if it is an unwanted visitor.

I have to agree with this,I realy don't have a problem with the little "going's on" in my home(as I mentioned in my earlier post) apart from the young man who has been both sensed and glimpsed(he seemed to be dressed in early 1900s) in the dining room.It felt realy cold and had an overpowering oppressive atmosphere in there, and I'm not understating things when I say everyone would comment about feeling not alone in there. There was also an ice cold spot in one particular place. So one day when everyone went out I got a chair put it in the cold spot and sat down and had a chat with this young man.I was very polite and just explained we felt intimidated in our own home and it must stop.I told him that although this may once have been his place it was now ours too and he had to stop being so aggressive toward us,afterall we meant him no harm.I also said that there was no reason why we could'nt all be here so long as we all respect each other and stay in our own time.I have to admit things have become more settled. My husband went into the room a couple of days later and said he that the room felt totally different for some reason. It's no longer got the cold spot either. He still does'nt know about my little chat.
People who have never had something like this happen or are not susceptible will always dismiss this kind of thing but once you have you know it's for real. Some people won't mention their experiences for fear of losing their credibility.I personally find it quite a comfort ,since to me it makes you realise that we are more than a bunch of cells.0 -
Last week my daughter showed me a photo on her mobile that her friend had sent her. It was of her and a group of friends at her house before they went out for the night, her two year old daughter was also in the photo and she was crying. Her daughter had, a couple of times throughout the day, started crying and said that "the little girl wouldnt play with her" and my daughters friend did not know what she was talking about. It was only when she had looked at the photo that you could see a ghostly figure of a little girl on the floor between the legs of the friends as they stood posing for the photo! I wouldnt have believed it if i hadnt seen it for myself! You could only see her head and shoulders and she was in black & white on a colour photo!!!!A freebie a day sends a smile my way!
