mums spooky night REALLY spooked me!!

Mum came over today, told me a few nigts ago she felt a prescence in her room, she's convinced someone sat on the bed beside her, then lay down right up against her then lay their arm over her as if cuddling her. she said she tried to move the arm across her but it was so heavy she couldn't.

she was def awake, sober etc and lives alone. she says although it un-nerved her she was not scared. Me..i'm pooping myself.

She says there are no deaths, anniversaries, birthdays around this time so obviously someone thought she needed a hug. Which is true right now, but it really spooked me out!!

Anyone else had similar??

just to add, she's not old and past reasoning between reality or not, she's only 51, no health probs etc, and the weight was not on her chest but accross her as if lying in the spooning position, but NOT rudey nudey she assured me!!

    Hi

Never had that myself, but have left a presence near the bathroom at my mum's house. It used to scare me so I would switch the landing light on and run as fast as I could down the stairs. We had bought the house from a lady, whose husband had died and she moved somewhere else.

isn't suppose to be the old hag visiting.

I have had a similar experience where I woke up and felt something sat on me and I was paralysed.

get a digital camera check theres nothing that could reflect the flash and turn the lights out and take a picture with the flasks on in the dark and see what you get you may get some unexplainable light orbs or foggy areas which is believed to be ghosts or something as if its not a reflecting its unexplainable. but i am no ghost expert just have an interest in it
  • i don't know whats worse, not knowing or probing more!! just my thoughts. mums not reading too much int it, but i'm scared for her as she lives alone. said she should get a local prest over!

Oh my God!! I'm not supersticious or anything but I couldn't do that! I would be so scared that a freaky picture would come up on the camera and then the lights would work or summut and i'd be stuck in the room with the 'thing'..

    :rotfl: i'm so lame! :o

the orbs only show up on a camera picture or camcorder you wont see them with your own eyes , dont know why though

sometimes its best not to know or probe, ignorance can be bliss

this isnt an evil spirit as the link in alwaysonthego describes,it will be a spirit of somebody close(partner, relation etc) who is letting her know that they are there giving her support and guidance at a time when your mum needs it.this isnt something to be scared of and can feel very comforting.
i have quite a few experiences like this and they always leave me feeling much lighter and lifted, remember if you are a good person and walk in the light the evil spirits will not get through to you and you will always have your sprit guides protecting you.if you ever do have an experience like this that you feel uncomfortable with or feel scared just ask the spirits to step back because they are scaring you.
    hope this helps
  • Thanks feclmum, my mum was not completely scared by this, although as you can imagine it doesn't happen every night!! She said she was half expecting a call today to say someone close to her had passed away in the night, it was that kind of feeling. She was def awake, I too have searched the old hag route and this doesn't sound the same. Just really weird.
