mums spooky night REALLY spooked me!!

Years ago a friend of me and my brother woke to see a boy sat at the end of the bed. The boy got up and floated into the mirror. Years later, last year infact the friend shared a house with my brother and a few odd things started happening. One evening he felt someone touch his back and another night he saw someone sat on his bed.
A few weeks later my brother was staying with a work colleague in Scotland. The colleagues mum was a medium and out of the blue said to my brother, Dont worry about the boy, its your friends brother. Hes just checking up on him.
Freaked out, when my brother got back home he told this to his friend. As the friend had no brothers, the pair of them went to see his mum who lived around the corner. Looking pale and shocked at the story she confirmed that years before John had come along she had given birth to a little boy who had died a week later. She hadn't told anyone.
My brother hadn't told the colleague about the boy or even that his mate was sharing a house with him! The medium had only just met him! Just a little story to spook you all out!!!£2019 in 2019 #44 - 864.06/20190 -

Had a good one at work a few weeks back. Me and another guy were standing next to the folder (we work in a newspaper printers) Nothing was running. There is an expanding guard type thing leaning on a bit wall/railing.
As we are standing there the guard that is leaning back on the wall/railing suddendly falls over. We are the only two near it. nothing is running so there are no vibrations or anything.
There is no wind or anything. Be hard explaining that one away!
This guard had not been touched for many months!JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -

To the poster who suggested taking a camera pic - be prepared for what you might see!!
My mum's aunt woke one night and felt as though there was someone in the rom with her (she lives alone) she used her mobile to take a picture in the dark.
The next day she looked at the pics.....and a figure of a man can clearly be made out sitting in the chair across the room.....:eek:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Someone else I know went to see a medium.....the woman asked her straight away about her twins. (She had lost them midway through pregnancy a few years previous)
The medium told her that they had both been boys and asked if her husband had ever complained about a pain in his shoulder. My friend was surprised, because he had...and the medium told her that the pain was caused by one of the boys sitting there....:p
Personally - I'm the sort of person who wants to believe, but would be scared to see the proof, if you know what I mean. If I found a strange man in my room I would be flipping petrified!!!:eek:Cross Stitch Cafe member No. 32012 170-194 2013 195-207.Hello Kitty ballerina 208.AVA 209.OLIVIA 210.ELLA 211.CARLA 212.LOUISE 213.CHARLEY 214.Mother & Child 215.Stop Faffing Completed 2014 216.Stitchers Sampler. 217.Let Them Be Small 218.Keep Calm 219. Strange thing happened to me when staying in a 14th century Tower House near Edinburgh (Liberton Tower) the last night we were there we hadn't built a fire or anything whereas the previous nights we had. The stone walls were around 5 ft thick, the roof made of stone tiles concreted together. We ruled out shrinking of the walls etc.
The underfloor heating was on, so in the top floor it was pretty cosy. I was drifting off to sleep when I heard a really big thud, like stone on stone, but no reverberation round the room is the only way I can describe it. I then felt a draught flowing from my feet all the way up my bare back, so I pulled the covers over so the ghost didn't see my backside:rotfl: My DH asked if I'd heard the noise too- when I said yes, he told me he'd heard it every other night too, but didn't want to scare me:eek:
Neither of us is into anything paranormal, but my DH would not go back to stay in Liberton Tower, even if someone paid him. Knowing how grippit he usually is, I'd say he's convinced it was something outwith this world:pMember of the first Mortgage Free in 3 challenge, no.19

The worst one at work is when we start talking about ghost stories on a night shift.
Where I work there is still the building of a victorian mental hospital. Where our building is was apparently part of the grounds of the hospital. Sometimes on a night shift we go out for a ghost hunt and walk round the old mental hospital. Good fun at 2 in the morning! :TJeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
i work 2 nights a week and when i first started the job i had a number of feelings i hadnt had before ,through being awake when my brain and body should be asleep. Mainly 2 things- being very cold and slight hallucinations.
A feeling of being freezing cold halfway through my shift (when working in a warm building with central heating)...struck me first, after talking to co workers they said it is common because this happens when you're asleep as your body temperature drops .
Hallucinations- nothing major just shadows appearing out of the corner of my eye but i put this down to tiredness.
I've only had experience of heaviness whilst not quite awake.....and that was when i\came round from anesthetic after an opBring back mark and lard NOW! or else (please) clique member no. 10 :j

I find on nights the cold thing happens between 3 and 4 in the morning.
I have had the seeing things out of the corner of your eye a lot at work. But because of how the place is built it would happen alot anyway. Lots of pillars and machines so easy to catch a glimps of someone walking about.JeremyMarried 9th May 20090 -
