I did warn you :p and it's lunch time now, I'm starving!

Welcome astonsmummy next weeks thread will be posted here sometime this afternoon. Pigpen is at crufts today but has net access via her mobile so may or may not be able to post a link on this thread to the new one. One of the regulars I am sure will post a link if needed.

    Afternoon.

Soup cooking and meat part of cottage pie. DS3 bedroom hoovered.

Big 2 at footie, OH running half marathon at silverstone.

Going to go and do a bit more upstairs and keep looking out the window as I think it is just about to rain.

AstonsMum - nice to see you over hear - good luck with the flying. About 6 months in now (did do it a year or so ago too) and I am just starting to feel that I am almost there so don't loose heart.

Gooseberry bush number one soaking so need to get that planted quickly too - maybe I'll do that now then I'll know if it is raining!

Afternoon all, had a good day yesterday watching all the rugby:beer:

Just going to do a meal plan then will go shopping.

Michelle, hope Charlie is on the mend, have you tried dioralyte rehydration sachets? They are really good for getting essential salts etc back into them.

Had a great day yesterday. BF won £110 backing Scotland at the rugby (he's English!!) And I only had soda and lime in the pub. All the old men were laughing at me as I was screaming at Scotland not to score anymore (bet was Sco win between 6 and 10 points) Hurrah!!!

Havent actually moved from couch today. Need to go and get my breakfast soon. We're going to see Dara O'Brien tonight, so a wee bit football this afty and move vegging ;)

    Enjoy the rugby G&B? :j :j :j

    Loved the rugby SSL:D

I was at the womens match, which we lost unfortunately, but it was a really good game and could have gone either way. Then went to work and watched the mens match. Had loads of England fans in, so lots of good banter.Unfortunately the tips were pretty poor as i think they were keeping their money to drown their sorrows:rotfl:

    Good afternoon everyone :D

astonsmummy welcome, as mentioned Pigpen will be posting the next weeks list some time this evening, if one of us spots it first I have no doubt they will post the link in here.

Tired today but nice and bright here (in between the clouds) so going to try and get the laundry caught up on, weather forecast for tomorrow isn't good so may aswell catch up when I can. Adding some things which need doing if it's going to be stormy again to my list for today aswell. DP vanished about half an hour ago, gone to help build a track somewhere, he did say he was taking DS2 out but that seems to have changed.....don't think DS2s too bothered as when he asked him if he wanted to go there instead he shut the door firmly in Dad's face...

AnW'sMum nice to hear from you, don't worry I've kept his notes, he seems to have dissappeared again, I think he's in the army or similar going by the bags he brings back/takes with him so the problem isn't constant, just when he's home as the other guy who was parking blocking the drive has listened to what was said and doesn't park there any more.

Place is still fairly tidy from yesterdays marathon cleaning so thinking baking day, get that all done today as studyings limited on weekends. Assignment that is due in needs writing up, most of it's done, couple of niggly bits on some questions I haven't done which I will have another look at.

Today's missions (inc the few I didn't get done yesterday)

    Clean laundry away
    Clean Sonic out
Finalise meal plan (lunches etc included) & shopping list (then double check list to make sure we need it)
Check ebay, I am sure I have ordered something which hasn't arrived but can't remember what :o
Laundry catch up inc the whites load, towels etc
Sort & pack the ebay item I have sold
Garden - mess clearing, bring DSs carrots in so they don't get blown over as he'll be upset if they do (which have started growing - he's put an entire packed of seeds in one pot, can see it causing problems!!) move bin, empty planters, sandpit etc to an area where they are less likely to get blown around. Snip the bush that's hitting the window when it's windy, blimey that's annoying. Get DP to check conservatory roof clips when he gets back.
Put window seal stuff in the blowy window, such a draught comes through there!
See if I can use the sealant on the front door, that ones like a gale!
Get DSs to help do their rooms which are a bit untidy
Make - choc brownies, cookies/biscuits, bread rolls
Dinner - meats defrosting, need to prepare veg then cook it all
Check online banking, emails, freecycle stuff etc
Play game with the boys, shark tale game DS1s requested
Night time stuff inc packed lunches, uniforms out etc
One day I might be more organised...........
    GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb

A&W'sMum, I hope you and the kids can now begin to move on without the pressure of the court case in your lives. Well done for staying so strong through it all.

Lil_me, the problem with me is that untill early last year we had no money to go spending on anything except the essentials (and usually buying those screwed us over for months), so for the past year we have been spending a lot. Kind of went to our heads having money to spend. But we are starting to rein it in. My holiday fund is coming along nicely, but the tax credits have been cut for the next few weeks so the savings won't add up as quick as I'd like. DH is doing well saving for his quad rather than giving into temptation and getting a loan/card/OD. It is all about re-aranging your life so you can save and still feel like your not missing out on 'having fun'. It's still nice to be able to splurge every now and again though, so get a nice new PC chair! I will be your little Evil Lil_me hopping on your shoulder!! hehe!
