    OK - whats been done

    kitchen S&S
    Sofa's cleaned
    Floor hoovered
    Floor mopped
    Living room S&S
    Asda unpacked

DS2 not for napping so guess I shoudl quickly S&S bathroom, unload TD and then I suppose if I must.. start on the room or doom.

I have actually done quite a lot this week, just not so much off teh lists, but like DustyKitten (I think) said, been doing the lists that long that I can start just doing things as I spot them instead of constantly trying to get certain rooms sorted out.

Better go get DS2 he is now howling.

    Afternoon all

Don't tell Pigpen but I haven't started yet! Taken DS swimming, met DH for lunch at local Outlet (Thorntons - yum) and now DS is having a nap.

I applied for a job a few weeks ago, 2 mornings and 4 hours to be agreed and I've had a letter today saying I've got an interview!!!! YIKES!!!! Not sure how I feel about it now, the extra money would be nice and I think family would look after DS but don't know if I want to go back to work. Sounds a really interesting job and good money, think I'll go to the interview and take it from there, prob won't get it anyway.

Again thinking of AnW's - glad you had some time for yourself yesterday, ignore the gossips, nasty old witches, as my gran would 'if their talking about you, their leaving someone else alone'.

Hugs to everyone else too! Better do something before Pigpen catches me! xx

Ebay are weird, they just sent me a letter saying they are making me an ebay 'star'. And they gave me a voucher for £10 off one transaction with no min spend:confused: Anyone else heard of this?

My son got one of those last week - he's only ever bought one thing from ebay! He got a Christmas present from them too - some naff plug in lights for the computer, spelling out the word ebay. I've never had anything!

    Anyway

    Afternoon all

One load of washing already dried and put away.

    Dusted and vacuumed through downstairs.

Night off work tonight, me and DD are going to see Newton Faulkner.

Hope you and your children are coping today AnW'sMum.

    Good afternoon all.
AnW'sMum, only being new here I don't know if it was the outcome you wanted/expected. I do know though I still find myself thinking of you and your children and wanted you to know that.
Michelle - I don't know if this applies to your little one but my son had diarhea(I can't spell it) a lot when he first started school, couldn't for the life of us work out what it was and all tests came back normal. His teacher said she had had one case before with a child where it was the powdered egg in school dinners, we changed him to pack lunches and the problem stopped instantly, I'd have never have believed it. Of course that's of no use if your little ones not at school and I don't know any of you enough but just thought I'd mention it.

Well my list for today - slightly easier for me as I only have a DS 16 at home and whole house has not long been redecorated.

Fearsome Friday- those frightening kids rooms and spare rooms
    Level One
[strike]Vacuum the floor, even if it's just where you can see[/strike]
[strike]Ring someone you love just to tell them so.. I feel the need for this after our traumatic week.[/strike] Had DD and BF over for tea last night and told her personally
    Level Two
[strike]Clear away anything that isn't in it's place, clothes, toys, books etc[/strike] DS did this last night
[strike]Dusting.. all those shelves and flat fluffy surfaces!! Don’t forget the light shade and curtain pole!!![/strike]
[strike]Strip beds, turn and vacuum mattresses!! and replace with fresh linen .. check if duvets need freshening up too!!
    [/strike]

    Level Three
[strike]Rummage ALL the junk from under the bed and sort through it.. I HATE this task!!![/strike] DS did this too, I can't get under
Wash the nets/curtains.. and while they are down [strike]clean those face prints off the window![/strike] New curtains
[strike]Wipe any sticky marks off walls and doors[/strike] None as yet, new paintwork and no little ones
[strike]If you manage to get thr floor cleared.. vacuum the rest that you couldn't see before.. it'll look like a new room!
    [/strike]

    Extra Task List
    • [strike]Wipe the radiators, skirtings and window & door frames[/strike]
    • [strike] Book a night out.. with your friends or husband or anybody.. just go have a day or an evening out.. go dance, go party, go for a meal, go shopping.. whatever.. just get out and enjoy yourself.. and children are NOT allowed!!!!!.. This one is not optional! :p [/strike] This is difficult, we're going to quiz night to raise funds for DS's rugby tour so he has to come too. LOL
    • [strike] End of week fling!! grab a binbag and fill it with stuff to leave the house.. rubbish or charity shop or to donate to a friend/nursery![/strike] Did this through the week from 42 fling boogie.
Spare room is tidy but last room waiting to be decorated, so just skipped that for now.
Well quite an easy day for me today really, Thank you for letting me join in. I suspect I'll have a self inflicted headache in the morning after said quiz above LOL and Sundays is rugby but I'll see you all Monday and join in again if that's okay? All have a lovely weekend. Many thanks to pigpen for putting up the lists and all of you for keeping me going.
    Thanks
    Soblivion.

    Hi all,

Not much flying done today - been to toddler group with DD2 & going to fly off to bed now. Was working last night so didn't get to bed til after 1am so a bit tired today.

Anyhow, got my daffs last night and they are now sitting on my kitchen windowsill. AnW'smum you are so brave. Know I'm new to this thread and only heard the tragic circumstances through the links posted but I think you are amazing. I can't imagine how difficult it is for you but my thoughts are definately with you and your children. It brings tears to my eyes just reading your story and the lovely messages everyone has written for you just makes me blub more! There really are some lovely people out there and hopefully there support helps a little.

Well, off to bed for an hour before school pick up. See you all later.x
