G&B - I'd go for it, but blitz the brown sugar in the processor to make it finer.0 -
Thanks SSL, its really quite fine anyway. I was just reading the back of the bag and it says it can be substituted for caster sugar in baking. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0

Hey everyone - hope you all had a good afternoon.
Almost have the bathroom finished only the floor left to mop but can't do that until the kids are asleep!
I will leave the kids rooms until the weekend and crack on with upstairs tomorrow.
I am going to give myself the night off tonight - lmao grown-up family always behave worse than kids - a good nights sleep and I should be back to being able to deal with them all! (the grown-ups)
AnW'smum (hugs) for you all. Little daffs were strung round my bag and you have been in my thoughts today.
Mudbath - I have no idea (yet!) what it is like to break a bone - I hope you are not in too much pain and are managing to get the odd thing done that you want to (not cleaning!) I did however look after Mum when she shattered her ankle and I know how frustraited she got at not being able to do the silly little things...
ok catch you all tomorrow0 -
Just checking in.
Its DH day off today so no flying done ( will have to catch up 2morrow). Been to DS parent evening and he’s doing really well, B in reading , B in maths and a C in writing. He’s doing so well this year, his writing has come on 100 % since removing his tumour ( he couldn’t even hold a pen this year and now he’s getting a C).
That reminds me I was call a neurotic mother by 6 doctors even had it wrote in DS hospital notes. When he finally got diagnosed with his brain tumour we were told be would have died within 2 weeks if it wasn’t found. Id been trying to find out what was wrong for 2 years, if it had have been found earlier he wouldn’t be having the difficulties he has now.

NKJAL well done to your DS, that's such a massive achievement considering what he's been through, hugs for you aswell, must have been awful being ignored. Been there myself but not with such a life threatening issue, DS1 was about 8 months old and severely dehydrated with a stomach upset, if we haddn't have took him to A&E after being fobbed off by a GP and told I was paranoid aswell as called a liar when I said he haddn't done a wee all day (which he later denied) I don't know what would have happened, they put him immediately on IV fluids, took him 3 days to recover.
Few parts of assignment done, swimming time in a mo so will have to do some more when I get in.One day I might be more organised...........

Evening all
Hugs to those who are poorly or stressed. I'm counting my lucky stars that my two kids didn't have any problems at all physically through their growing up.
Well, flying may be out the window this evening. A rush job came in at work today so I now have to go and read a document, devise a plan around it and prepare myself for working on it at home over the weekend. As long as something arrives tomorrow, I've already earmarked Monday as working from home so maybe I'll just work flat out Friday evening and all Saturday so I can have a later weekend of sun/mon.

Evening all .
Just realised I have not looked at the list all week. That dosn't mean I've not been flying but I am just doing the rooms as I feel they need them and after working from the lists for so long I know what needs doing - might peek to see what I have missed in a minute.
Kids fed
Our bed changed and room hoovered.
My dinner nearly ready
Need to wrap DS1's pressies up as it is his birthday tomorrow.
An'WsMum I hope you held out ok today and that this step is now over xThe birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0
