Tracyg.. mine was so 'stiff' with her screaming they couldn't check her hips properly when they do the routine checking.. that's why she was missed at birth. We have a family history of bone problems which is why I can't understand why they didn't listen.. we also have 3 diagnosed family members with osteogenesis imperfecta (Very brittle bones) and they won't check for that because the test is too expensive, even though it is competely debilitating and just being born often result in bone breaks.. but they never listen.. they scanned my youngest 5 for it.. DS2 was 9 months old when they diagnosed DD1 so he missed out.

GnB.. did you know it is more common in the left leg and for the left leg to be the worst affected and also in girls of Spanish origin as well!!! How weird is that???

That and several million other reasons are why I don't believe a word any of the medical profession say and I wouldn't leave my childrenin the care of any of them and I never think ' doctor knows best' because in my experience doctor knows next to nothing and tends to wing it rather too often for my liking!.. Change of subject before I get REALLY cross lol

One more word on doctors please,
My LO has had fantastic care every time she has been in for surgery, and without them she would probably not be here. So i do have a fair bit of respect for them;)

Our health authority matches perfectly the education authority.. at the bottom!

One of the mums at school lost her sister to MRSI.. 3 days after a section to deliver her baby...

Hubby and I discussed moving to another area for decent health care and education for the children.. and I ended up travelling 60 miles to Leeds to have 2 of my children.. ironically in the same room!

When I was having Tiddles.. I was in labour for days.. one of the MW's said to another they were waiting for the baby to die because I'd 'refused' to go for a section.. They also wrote inmy noted I'd 'refused' a blood transfusion (that noone had even spoken to me about) because their blood stocks were so low in my blood group they wanted to save it for someone who needed it more.. my blood count was 4.8.

    Morning all,

I am definitely one step forward, two back this week, but never mind.
DH is still fitting 2 doors in the dining room, and whilst he's doing all the planing outside, the sawdust is still travelling inside at a rate of knots. Tomorrow he has work colleagues here ... so not too chuffed currently. But we'll see what we can do to sort this out ... whip perhaps ;)

Thrilling Thursday - Master Bedroom & Landing
    Level 1
    Check fire alarms are working
[STRIKE]Remove and wash bed linen and duvet covers.[/STRIKE] - Did last week, will do next week
    Level 2
[STRIKE]Dust surfaces & make sure no cobwebs..[/STRIKE] - Did on Tuesday
[STRIKE]Vacuum & turn mattress before replacing with fresh linen..[/STRIKE] - next week, phew.
    [STRIKE]Air the duvet[/STRIKE] -I like this ... NEXT week ;)
    [STRIKE]15 minutes floordrobe clearance [/STRIKE] - Clear
    Level 3
[STRIKE]Vacuum floors in bedroom and on landing[/STRIKE] - Tuesday, but will be re-doing once the sawdust has settled.
[STRIKE]Sort 10 things from your wardrobe (or someone elses) that you can get rid of... and a pair of shoes only counts as one thing! likewise socks![/STRIKE] - I finally binned a whole load of undies ... now I need to go shopping :)
Clear a hotspot.. or spend 15 minutes clearing one. - top of bookcase is still looking scary!
Extra tasks list, as usual choose one or more
    • 41 fling boogie time, go on grab a bag and clear that clutter
    • [STRIKE]Clean all the upstairs doors... and handles![/STRIKE]
    • Clean windows in these rooms
    • Freshen up the curtains if needed
    Others:

    2 mile run
    Post bank application form
Do petty cash form for work
Sort out work clothes for tomorrow
    Re-fill car with diesel
    Check oil levels
    Check water levels
    Check air in tyres
    WW:eek:
Do a bit more on this skirt I started making last night and got too tired to finish.

    Morning all

Good wishes to AnW'sMum and Nicki

Two loads of washing on the line, including DD's bedding.

Remade her bed (cleaned bedrooms yesterday).

Cleaned bathroom and toilet properly and washed floors.

    That's all for me:)
