I'm out quite alot today. I'm joining Slimming world with a friend this morning and then seeing people, so will try to get as much done between all that.
Anwsmum Sending you big hugs and praying for you in your situation. I read the article you posted last night and wanted to let you know that even though I don't 'know' you...I'm standing with you..
Everyone else have a good day. I'll catch up later...0 -
Nicki: Big hugs for you too....0

Hey everyone,
(hugs) for all this morning.
*confession* I fell asleep in my yellow t-shirt - so I will keep it on while I look for something else - although if all fails there are some dwarf daffs in the garden...
By the time I sorted out all the outfits last night I was too tired to do anything other than crawl into bed. DS I think had been primed by Dad and was utterly thrilled with his costume - mum is quite pleased with herself tooSo Freya the Friday Fairy, Shark (commotion in the ocean) and Dora the explorer are all off to school. Which leaves me with the lists, a whole lot of mess and some deliveries to sort out :rotfl:
G&B - our eldest dd has always "suffered" a bit with growing pains - bad genes from me I think - I remember having them too...
I must not forget to post the letter in my bag today!!!
Kitchen is going to get it 1st I think - ok lets see what I can get done in an hour!0 -
Hiya lovelies!
Not been around for ages, DS has been poorly with various illnesses and then both DH and I have had this dreaded tummy bugs doing the rounds. Managed to deep clean kitchen on Monday and thats about it. Went to a Health Spa for the day yesterday so NOTHING got done and we ended up having a chippy for tea but had a fab time, great after the rough 3 weeks we've had.
So now we both seem better, DS is just now mardy and clingy after having his every whim seen to while poorly, although sorry if TMI but Michelle my DS has been having runny nappies for about 3 weeks now, only 1 or 2 a day maybe, doctor reckons its just a phase from being poorly, having MMR and his digestion system changing. Haven't offered me any tests though so need to keep a watch on it.
Shelley sorry to read your dads in hosiptal
Shell seen on Facebook you've got chicken pox - hope your ok!
Nicki hugs, hope you get things sorted
Mudbath OUCH!!! Can't beleive someone did that, what about your work?
AnW's thinking about you and your children, been through the whole inquest thing myself and it was awful, didn't realise how close we live until read that link, so sorry for what you're going through xxx
Right, DS is happliy playing with his toys so better get a wriggle on. Got loads to do today xxxLightbulb moment 15th Feb 2007:doh: Now Debt Free and plan on it staying that way!
Baby on board!:D0 -
Morning everyone.
About again today as DS is now on day 12 of upset tummy.
Tracey i'm glad you shared that about DS - it has been worrying me, and getting a bit beyond a joke. DS is so well otherwise, and only does a nappy after eating, so i think i may go and be forceful with the nursery, as he is obviously not ill. I'm using the fact i'm a bit off it to have time off work, and hoping they don't turn round and tell me to take mat leave early. I was looking up toddler diarrhoea online yesterday, and apparently it is really common and usually dietary related. I am going to try and get some starchy veg in him today, as his diet we have been sticking to things like beans on toast in the hope it is bland and might help, but not working. I also stopped him having endless cups of milk this morning, as some people were saying too mcuh milk caused it.
AnW's mum will be thinking of you again today. I hope A doesn't hear anything about it at school, and that things work out the way you want so you can get some closure on it. The newspaper article wasn't comfortable reading. Big hugs to you, and i am really glad you have such good support from your parents. Perhaps we should do a flylady mini-meet when we get Easter out the way. Us yorkshire ladies perhaps.
plan then for me today - i urgently need to run a hoover around, as 2 days of DS destruction means the living room is manky again, and the dining room and kitchen. I am put off by the amount of toys on the floor. Can't wait for the decorating to be done so we can store them better as they are all in the living room at the moment.
I am going to nip to the shop and get some starchy veg and bananas to try and sort DS out. Then he is going to eat very healthy meals today instead of the tinned rubbish i have been feeding him. I will sort his digestive system out.
I also wrote a letter turning down the SAT marking this year, so i need to get that posted while we are out.
Must get out some meat from the freezer - DH says there is another portion of turkey in there. I thought that all went last month. Best eat that up then.
See you all later.

G&B - this is probably tmi - but when we got our new bed I got a matress protector as I tend to bleed really heavily
On the occasions that I have bothered to hoover matress there is nothing in the dustbucket thing - which was annoying! I think it must (the dust) collect in the matress protector thing? which can be shoved in the machine :T
