AnWsMum, my thoughts are with you, I'd seen the press release on the Daily Mail website (possibly the one soappie mentioned if not just shout and I'll send the link) it took me a good half an hour to brave reading it, I really don't know where you get your strength from honey, I was in pieces just reading through but then looking at Ian's wonderful smile you can't resist smiling back. Just wanted to thank all of the Flyladies aswell, you lot restore my faith in human beings on a daily basis with your endless support. You're all very special. Quite bizarre this morning as I stepped out of the house the first daffodil had finally opened up, my son was a little confused at me being so pleased that a daffodil had come out but I explained it made me think of someone very special.

    Morning everyone

Just wanted to say thanks so much for your support yesterday. Team yellow rules ;) In particular wanted to thank lil_me and pigpen

A asked me how the meeting had gone so I had to tell her so that she is prepared if anything is said at school today. Felt like telling her again but she is such a brave soldier. We have decided to let off lots of balloons at the weekend :)

Will look in later, better get in the shower. Hope you all have a good day xx

    Morning all

Looking at today's list, I probably get off easy - I tend to leave changing the bedding until Saturdays but we'll see how I feel when I get in from work today.

Hugs to AnW - today will be slightly easier than yesterday I'm sure.

    ORF ops

Buster is awake. And watching. I THINK he's still accessible remotely - I've done all the checks I can from here. If you're really lucky, you might see the gardener late morning sweeping the drive etc. Will be slightly more interesting than the usual watching paint dry scenario

    ORF off:cool:

Right, off to get dressed in the other yellow top, pick two daffs, make some sandwiches and then do the Work work stuff.

    Have a good day everyone.

    2. Should I freecycle or dump my old DW. I think dump, hubby says freecycle. It has the following things wrong with it:

Hi, JillD :hello: Our Local Authority has containers where you can leave dead electrical equipment. They then have them stripped down and recycled. That gets my vote.

Day off today, so planning to get a lot of things done. Off for a run once the children have left for school, then my list. I have a Roman blind that I've started making and would like to make progress with that, and free up my spare room floor :o

Morning all. Weird this morning waking up to an empty bed, the house was so quiet last night as well and there's hardly any washing up, no laundry (apart from underwear) and the house is feeling really big and empty  This is really weird and I don't like it :o I am trying to stick to the doing things as I "mean to go on" like not leaving the house looking like Blackpool overnight through fear of being broken into, which I'm getting there with - only 1 light on last night instead of 2 the night before (kitchen & stairs) or the usual 3 when ex used to go away - not only does it feel more "normal" but its also saving me money :money::rotfl: Which I'm going to do with a vengence. I'm going down to an income of about £10,000 on all the benefits and considering I was getting £12,000 PLUS CB & CTC it could actually prove interesting! Mind you £1900 of that went on our bank loan anyway which I no longer have to pay :D so it should work out about the same :T

DD had a nightmare last night involving various people being fish so she wants me to write it out for her in her diary so she can share it with ex when he comes around so thats my next job once I've had my morning coffee. Need to make a quick Asda run which (if DD shifts herself  ) I should be able to do before school as I literally need 2 things but they just happen to be on the far side  I also need to clean the rug as DD has just knocked a FULL mug of milk over it (will do a search in a minute for what to use). Then its home to a wash load of cloths and towels (thanks to the accident with the milk I might as well put a load on :rotfl: ) the phonecalls I need to make, and packing some more of ex's stuff up. I'm going to have SO much room when I've finished its kind of scary :o

Right, off to do that search for OS solutions to spilt milk :rotfl::rotfl:

Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!
