    (((AnW's mum and A and W)))

I'm another one who has been thinking of you all day, and there's a jamjar of daffodils on my kitchen windowsill for everyone to see. Nothing I feel I can add that hasn't been better said already. But we're all here for you whenever you want.

pigpen - forgot to say how pleased I am for your daughter!!

michelle - I always found blancmange very helpful with the children's tummy upsets, one of my mum's suggestions. Don't know why it works, but it seems to settle it down. I'd be cautious about too much fruit, and high fibre foods.

A little flying done here today - gardened this morning, and then cleaned the cloakroom and bathroom to about level three, and also washed all the towels. Teaching all day tomorrow, a trial day at a new school, which may ask me to do the next two weeks - and it's my own subject! Looking forward to it. I'll pop back in tomorrow evening. Take care everyone.
It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be

Off to watch a channel 4 about call centre phorage - should be good. I've given up on Ashes to Ashes

Dusty! Why? Its not even on in Scotland tonight, so I'm taping on BBC1 North West. Might catch the call centre programme on C4 +1 as I'm watching the footie. Dunno why.....

Someone please tell me they get a bit better, as i am knackered.
michelle - they do get better,\ their attention span getsa bit longer and they can play with more stuff properly. Still make a heck of a mess tho. But more importantly its all soooooooooooooooo much easier to cope with when you're not pregnant.

skintscotslass - how much weight do you want to shift ? When's your weigh in day ? Do you fancy being weight loss buddies ? Questiosn questions!
I know there's a weight loss thread but I can't cope with keeping up with 2 threads.
I've got about 3 stone to lose, and weigh in at a Weightwatchers meeting on a Thursday evening. Had my weigh in tonight.

lil_me - have you been watching 'The Woman Who Stopped Traffic?' on Channel 4. The programme is about Durham next week.

Haddn't heard of it, just had a look at the website, but we did have HUGE go car free banners through central Durham a few weeks ago, wonder if it was to do with that? I don't live as close to the town now but do remember seeing them. Might have to watch it next week :D

I'm watching ashes 2 ashes but promise not to spoil it :D of course on Sky+ for DP who's at work.

Michelle, just thought of something when serena mentioned the high fibre foods, you mentioned beans on toast, my DS2 loves beans and we had to reduce his intake because of messy poo issues, maybe TMI for some but just a thought......

JillD we all have our moments, just posted a confession of my terrible week as far as dieting goes, dreading weighing myself on Tuesday, you'll get there honey, don't be so hard on yourself.
One day I might be more organised...........

Hi everyone (missed me? :rotfl: )

Havent been on as been very busy with my french student here (who has been an absolute treasure) and I have to be up at 4 o clock in the morning to take her to the station so cant stay long.

    A massive hugs to AnW'smum and A n W.
I only skipped back a page and saw the link to the news article. I am not very good with words and just wanted to say a few for you. While any loss is tragic I hadnt realised the circumstances you had lost your dear husband. You have been an amazing tower of strength to others on here (and obviously your children) and how you have listened to us and laughed with us when we have been man bashing, I cant comprehend how you did it. You are an incredible woman and I hope you can find the support in us at this terriblydifficult time, that we have previously found in you.

    Evening everyone

Not much done today, work as usual, then actually got around to the baking. DS1 had previously made apple cakes at school a while, ago which he liked, so we made those and some chocolate fairy cakes for DS2. Fancied trying flapjacks but the realised I had no brown sugar, don't suppose caster would do?

No flying due to sister and family visiting, DS1 birthday tomorrow. He will be 13, a teenager, where did all that time go?

    Hugs to AnW'sMum.

Ooooh, probably between 4 and 5 stone, but I'm looking at 1 stone at a time. Weigh in is Wednesday. Lets be buddies :j :j :j We'd get kicked off the OS Weight loss thread anyway for paying for classes :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

You've been doing really well so far. How much have you lost?

Poohbear thats great news about the wedding ring, bet that was a shock.

Lil_me thanks for the info about ebay, must pull all out tomorrow.

G&B isn't awful about Patrick, was watching GMTV and the doc on it was saying that most people with that kind of cancer don't survive beyond 12 months.

Michelle my DS1 had diarrhea for a long time and i was told tummy bug, i kept going back and still they said the same after a few months and the fact he was starting to loss weight they tested his poo and then sent him to get the test to see if he was a celiac (sp) but the test come back normal. In the end he seemed to grow out of it.

My daffs are all starting to open but they are all slumped over, i'm hoping it will only happen this year as this is the first year of planting.

As for doctor don't get me started :rotfl: , hubby's are fine now but took a lot to get them to listen, GP thought i was some mad woman looking for problems first DS1 and his diarrhea then DD with her chocking, i mine taking her in and telling him she was chocking and that it happened an awful lot even when she chewed her food well and that she couldn't even swallow her saliva, he told me to take her home then she started chocking in front of him and he said o your right (i was hardly making it up) awwwwwww she was sent then straight to hospital.
Then there was DD pediachen (sp)doctor who told me i was mad as well but gave DD an xray said she was fine and sent her home another doctor rang 2 weeks later to say that DD needed to go to hospital now as she had something stuck in her troath the first doctor didn't even check the xray and she was also the doctor that told me when DD was born that i was an awful mother and didn't deserve her and packed me off to a mother and baby unit or i wasn't gonna get to keep my daughter awwwwwww needless to say i never brought DD back to any of her appointments.    Sorry for the rant i just don't like doctors. I could really go on about how much they have let my kids down.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.
    :j :j
